Sylvie says goodbye, gives Antonio closure, and meets her new temporary partner

They'd decided that Molly's was a bad idea for girls night because everyone in work would know exactly what had happened between them. Instead the three women found a dive bar that had really good bar food. They managed to get a table in a corner, and ordered a plate of apps and the first round of beers, settling in for an evening that would end early but was much needed. Sylvie and Gabby had made up via text before they met up, but there was still an undercurrent of tension between them.

Like normal, the talk began with work - changes that were happening, Stella's latest escapades in a fire - but they ignored the elephant in the room of Gabby leaving. They sat with their longnecks while talking, laughing about anything and everything. The low stakes fun that they were having changed when Stella arrived back with the next round and a tray of shots for them to play Never Have I Ever.

Sylvie got off lucky with some of the questions, laughing as her friends both took shots to "Never have I ever had sex in a firehouse". She didn't get so lucky with outdoors, the group dissolving into giggles as she tried explaining how different rural Indiana was to the city. By the time they finished they were all well on their way to drunk, laughing about the ridiculous stories they'd admitted to.

Gabby had gone to get her round, and she put the bottles in front of each of them before sitting down and staring at Stella.

"Ok, I'm leaving Chicago for three months so I need you to spill, what's going on between you and Severide?" Stella's face flushed, and Sylvie held her hands up in innocence.

"I said absolutely nothing!" She exclaimed as Stella shot dagger eyes at her.

"She didn't say anything, but I'm assuming you had a Casey incident by her reaction? It happened to me too, and Brett doesn't spill secrets. I was asking because you've barely looked at him the last couple of shifts." Gabby indicated at the bottle in front of Stella before taking her own drink.

Stella took a long drink before responding. "We slept together a couple of times. We haven't given it a name, but it's fun. There's no strings, we'll go from there."

They left the other two relationships, but Stella stuck her eyes at Sylvie. "So...now you're single, have you joined tinder yet?" Sylvie looked confused at her.

"What the hell is that? Plus, I've been single for all of a month, I'm not ready for anything yet."

"It's a dating app. You hook up your Facebook, post a few cute photos, and wait for people to swipe on you if they like you. You swipe on them too, and then if you both like each other you can have a conversation. Get you back out there dating!" Gabby's face brightened at the thought of setting Sylvie up, and before the blonde knew it her phone had been handed over to the scheming dark haired duo in front of her.

They went through her camera roll, finding some cute selfies and one of her and Gabby in the cab of the ambo, hula shark in view. Everything was presented to Sylvie for her approval, and she gave up and let them do it. By the time they decided to call it a night around eleven she had a fully functioning profile, and kept getting notifications that someone had swiped on her.

Sylvie wasn't hungover the next morning before work, but she definitely hadn't had enough sleep. Kelly treated her to a bacon sandwich before they even left the house, and she ingested caffeine like it was going out of style. The house was subdued during Boden's briefing, and even when they queued up for their breakfasts to eat it was like they were eating in a library rather than a firehouse. The morning passed with 61 getting called out several times, and each time Sylvie had a wonder if it'd be their last run together. They just arrived to the house for lunch when the bells went yet again.
