230 days until competition.
November 7."Just like we had practiced before, okay?" Said Mark as he took both my hands into his own. My back was as straight as possible. My left leg was held out in front of me.
I took a deep breath, before taking off into the air. Mark held onto my hands tightly as I glided around him. Once I reached the front of him, I wrapped my legs around his hips in a quick fashion. I arched my spine, as I began to dangle upside down, using only the brute force of my legs for support.
I giggled happily to myself, as Mark pulled me to stand up straight.
"I did it!" I responded happily.
"You did it!" He gestured his hands in an excited matter.
I squealed explosively, then opened my arms to embrace Mark. My arms wrapped around his neck as his bulky arms coiled around my waist. He proceeded to pick me up off the ground and spin me gracefully.
When he stopped spinning me, I broke from the hug to look at his face. My smile slowly started to fade, as I began to look deeply into his dark eyes.
Using one of my hands, I pushed back a strand of his soft, dark hair away from his eyes. When I did this, he glanced down at my lips.
And right before I knew it, he was slowly leaning in.
I tilted my head to the side, and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek. I looked back at him, and smiled a little.
He chuckled to himself slightly, then sat me back down.
