Chapter 5: Fox demons

Back in the underground base, Dr. Isaacs is doing his work. He's injecting Naruto's blood sample into animals while injecting Alice's blood into a zombie. The first animal he's testing on is a zombie dog. The dog snarls as it moves around, trying to break free. Then, it feels the blood being injecting inside. Then, its snarls increases as it begins to change. Isaacs watches as the dog is now becoming...a fox demon. The fox has orange fur, red eyes, and four tails. It's growling as it looks around. It then sees the zombie next to it, and then spots Isaacs. It growls angrily at him. All he does is smile at it. Later, the fox is inside a glass box, in chains. Dr. Birkin and his wife look at the fox in awe with a doctor. The fox looks at them. The fox then sees the doctor putting down some food for it. It's raw meat. It sniffs it, and eats it. 

William: Truly amazing. This demon is acting on animal instinct. But a fox with four tails, truly a remarkable experiment. What do you think?

Annette: Yeah, it is. The boy's blood with the demon blood makes this truly magnificent. 

William: Dr. Isaacs is working on the experiment with project Alice's blood. Hopefully, we can finally make a good start of going back to the surface. 

Annette: I know. 

Doctor: Dr. Birkin, I found some videos of project Alice and the boy. I think it might help us learn more about the boy.

William: Alright. Go ahead. 

The fox watches as the doctor turns on the tv. It shows Alice and Naruto when he was little. They watch as she plays with him. They both laugh as they roll down a hill together. Annette watches this, and makes a small smile. Then, it shows Alice talking to Spence in the mansion.

Alice on video: He bit somebody down there. 

Spence on video: What? He bit somebody? 

Alice on video: Yeah. He bit somebody in the hive and now I gotta go down there and pick him up. 

Spence on video: Is the person all right?

Alice on video: I don't know. He had to go the hospital on the surface. I got to go pick him up now. He can't stay in the hive. They told me it took five men to pull him off of him. And then they were telling me that the man had to have stitches. Like, this man had to get stitches from my son. 

Spence on video: Alice, he's not well. He hasn't been feeling well. He's been having trouble sleeping, and he once told me that he had a nightmare of a giant fox, wanting to get him. I mean, aren't you worried about him?

Alice on video: Of course I am. He's my son. 

Then, the next video shows what happened in the hive. A man is walking in the hallway in the hive by Naruto's old room. Naruto comes out of the room, holding one of his toys. Then, the man knocks him down by accident. Naruto falls down, but suddenly jumps up with a roar, and attacks the man. The man is screaming on the video as Naruto is biting him. People hear this, and they rush to stop Naruto. Five men rush in to pull him off the man. As they watch this, the fox also sees this. He can feel the boy's anger, and power. The fox then starts snarling. All three doctors hear it, and turn around. The fox roar out loud. They jump back as it stands up, and breaks free from the chains. Both wife and husband run for the exit as the fox lunges at the doctor. He's screaming as it begins tearing him apart. William closes the door tight. They both watch as the fox feeds on the body. The doctor's bloody hand presses on the glass, before sliding down as the fox snarls while feeding. They both sigh at this. They both look over at Isaacs, who's standing in front of his glass box as the zombie kills two doctors. He just looks and walks away. Annette shakes her head. She doesn't trust him. 

Annette: William, I'm gonna go check on Sherry. 

William: Alright. After that, meet me in our room. We need to talk about a few things. 

She nods, and walks off to check on their daughter. William watches her, and walks off to their room. 

Here's the 5th chapter of Son of Alice: Extinction. I hope you'll all like the chapter, my son of Alice fans.
