Early one morning Vova woke up to a loud crash and something breaking. He flew out of bed. He saw Wladimir on the stairs a silent conversation told him Wladimir had also been awaken by the same sound.

Walking carefully downstairs he noted nothing missing or broken. But when they got to the kitchen Vova turned pale.

On the floor was a large puddle of blood with a smear towards the back of the kitchen. He and Wladimir quickly split and both went round a side.

"Jorji?" they both called out before Vova was on the floor next to me.

He managed to wake me up while Wladimir called an Ambulance.

"Mr. President I am sorry to tell you this. But it seems your wife has lekeumia and it doesn't look good. I am so sorry for having to give you this news."

Vova sank into Wladimir's arms sobbing. It simply can't be real. After everything else we been through this was just cruel.

" I don't have the energy to fight this again Vova. It's too painful and too much trauma. I want to enjoy you and our children and life for as long as I can, not be in and out of hospitals, being sick and feeling poorly all the time. I love you and I wish this could be different but I can't do this again." I told Vova.

He pulled me to his chest holding me tight saying.

" This is your choice to make, I can't and won't make it for you but I will be right here holding you, loving you through it all. We won everything else we will get through this also I believe in the power of our love."

Vova held me to him even tighter. We decided not to tell anyone. Wladimir would move in and help with the kids. Vova will go on like normal.

About 6 months later I landed in hospital again. This time for a nose bleed that won't stop. Hospitals being hospitals did a whole lot of tests.

Vova was at work when Wladimir and I were told.

"Jorja it seems Dr. Micolyav made a grave mistake. Your cancer is still in remission, but in about 3-4 weeks you will be a baby richer." Dr. Yacov said

Wladimir and I looked at one another.

"So you saying that she's not sick she's pregnant. The dizziness, the fatigue, the pain all part of pregnancy not cancer?" Wladimir asked the question I was thinking about.

"Yes, it seems to be the case, I believe the previous test came back negative for pregnancy, I don't know why it is, but it led to the first diagnosis. If you want I can have a ultrasound technician in here and we can have a look right now unless you want to call the President first and wait for his arrival." The doctor suggested.

" No, I will have it now. And then Wladimir can help me surprise Vova. " I said smiling up at Wladimir seeing the smile on his face form.

The tech looked over to the dr in a pannic. And called him over. They were whispering about something we could not make out. I could feel the tension rising in me and Wladimir just moved to sit next to me on the bed to hold me.

"Can you please tell us whats going on, you are scaring us." Wladimir demanded.

The tech looked over to the Dr. To receive an approval nod from him.

"Yes, I apologize for that it is just I haven't seen anything like this before. You are definitely pregnant 35 weeks 3 days to my estimate." The tech said.

"ok but that sounds normal what is the weird part. Then?"
I asked.

"This" the Tech said and turned the screen.
