Hello everyone who's reading this. I am Matt Fuller, driver of Toby The Tram Engine. I live at Elsbridge with my wife and son. As stated before, I drive Toby, who is Sodor's No. 7. Okay, enough going on about myself. This journal recaps the last few days on Sodor, which is what we call The Sodor Outbreak. It is not a nice memory and one I don't want to talk about.
May, 26th, 1994.
It was a lovely day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, nothing could go wrong. Me and Liam, Toby's fireman, where waiting for the passengers to board Toby's coach, Henrietta. As we were waiting, Jeff the guard ran up to us. He looked very scared.
"Zombies!" he cried. "Zombies are on the loose! They're heading to the station!"
"Don't be daft!" I said. "There's no such thing as zombies."
But he was right. Strange looking humans staggered onto the platform and began to attack Jeff. The passengers screamed and raced into the coaches. I was scared out of my wits. Liam nearly fainted. But the most freaked out was Toby.
"Let's get out of here!" yelled Toby.
I opened the regulator and we raced out the station. We didn't dare look back. Toby was going at speeds he wouldn't normally go at. We raced along the line and didn't stop until we reached Knapford. Toby was out of breath. We then saw something shocking. Zombies were mauling Sir Topham Hatt.
"SIR! NO!" cried Toby.
"Just leave me Toby." Sir Topham Hatt said weakly. "Run while you still can."
Toby fled the station and raced towards the docks, faster than he had ever gone before.
