Richard then got a call. It was from Mr. Percival and he sounded pleased. Richard told us he needed to go to Crovan's Gate as Mr. Percival had a surprise for him. Toby offered to take him. So he climbed aboard with us and we set off for Crovan's Gate, taking the cure with us. When we arrived, we were shocked to see Skarloey and Rheneas, alive!
Mr. Percival told us that these two were the real Skarloey and Rheneas, home from the Talyllyn Railway. The ones that were dead were two fake replicas built to take their place. Mr. Percival was pleased they were gone, they acted too childish and caused lots of trouble. He then told us that he wished it was the same for Duncan. We looked over and sure enough, there was Duncan, with green skin, yellow eyes and missing patches of skin on his face. Then we remembered something.
"Percy!" me, Liam and Richard yelled.
"He went that way!" Mr. Percival said pointing left. "But be careful!"
And with that, we set off on our dangerous mission.
