May, 27th, 1994.

The next day, we went out to hunt for more survivors. After checking every station on the mainline, to no avail, we took a rest near Maron. Suddenly, we heard two whistles in the distance. Two familiar blue and grey shapes came puffing towards us. It was an LNER A1 and LNER A4 pacifics.

Gordon was in front. He was in perfect shape, but had black war paint under his eyes. Spencer was coupled behind. He too was in perfect shape, but bandages were covering his right eye. The poor engine. Toby asked what happened. Gordon said that he found Spencer stuck on the hill, part of his face and right eye had been eaten by the zombies.

You see, Gordon was The Zombie Warrior, who went around trying to gather up survivors and supplies like food and bring them back to the camp site at Tidmouth. He wore war paint under his eyes so everyone knew he was the Zombie Warrior.

He recalled that he found three engines who so far were alive. He found Oliver at Tidmouth, but was unknown if he survived, as we didn't find him at Tidmouth when we went there, but it could be he escaped so our hopes weren't low.

He then found Henry, but it was before the attack started at night, and he was taking the Flying Kipper to Vicarstown, so far he doesn't know what happened to him. And finally he found Spencer, who broke down while taking some empty coaches to Vicarstown. The zombies found him and were attacking. His right eye and part of his face had been eaten by the zombies. Thankfully some armed men in Gordon's cab were able to kill the zombies.

Suddenly, a loud whistle blared out and a big orange 9F thundered past with a train full of survivors. Murdoch was in perfect shape, but had an eye patch over his eye. Behind him was Percy, growling and screaming as he went after his next victim.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!" gasped Thomas. "Percy, what happened to you?" but there was no reply. Fortunately, the signal set some points towards a siding. Percy crashed into the back of a goods train, which gave Murdoch some time to escape.
