But curing Percy was harder than we thought. We had to look for him and we were worried we wouldn't make it out alive. We arrived back at Brendam Docks, were we found Percy ripping parts off Derek. He was crying and begging Percy to have mercy on him.
Thankfully we knew what to do. We scrambled onto Percy, opened his water tank and before we could do anything else, Percy reached out on of his tendrils and grabbed me. He was about to eat me when Chris, Derek's driver grabbed a knife from his pocket and chopped the tendril clean off. Liam poured the cure into Percy's tank and in a flash, Percy returned to normal and started to cry. He told us he hadn't meant to kill or harm anyone, it was under the influence of the virus. We told Percy it was none of his fault and promised to take care of him. Just then, two certain Ironworks diesels buffered up to Toby and Percy. There was a whack of a bat on my head and everything went black.
