It was time for me to confess my feelings for Dean. But how? Now, trust me, I've watched a ton of movies, so I know how it goes...only I don't. Why couldn't I have a script or something?
You stepped into Cher's house, calling her name, but there was no response. "She's not home."
You spun around, finding Dean by the stairs. "Where is she?" you asked.
"Her and dad went out for some early dinner," he answered.
"What about you?" You smiled a bit at his tense posture.
"Wasn't hungry."
You bit your lip as the atmosphere shifted into something more awkward. You nodded to yourself, then began walking up the stairs, as he started walking down. You started to smile a little, and he did too. You both were acting childish. Just as he passed you, your hand sprung out and latched onto his arm, pulling him to a stop. You didn't speak, and he furrowed his brows, wondering why you had just randomly stopped him. "Dean," you breathed. "I... think... I need to talk to you."
"You think?" he repeated.
"Yes, I think," you snapped, and sighed. Your temper was not going to help you in this situation. You plopped down on the steps, and he glanced around in confusion before following suit. "I need help."
"With? What's bothering the princess?" he teased, and you lightly shoved him.
"Shut up. I need you to be serious." You sighed, suddenly aware of fingers as you wringed them. "You see... there's this boy. And I really like him, but I don't think he likes me."
"Why do you think that?"
"I don't know. I mean, maybe it's because whenever we talk, we throw jabs at each other, but at the end of the day, when he or I storm off, I'm always left with this... feeling."
You were smiling like a love-sick idiot now, and Dean saw this. But he didn't like it. In fact, he hated it. Whoever this boy was, he despised him. You would never know the burning desire he had inside for him to be the reason you smiled like this.
"Y/N, I'm not gonna listen to your boy troubles," Dean heaved, and you were taken aback.
"Why not?"
"Because you don't have any!"
"I don't understand," you mumbled.
"Of course, you don't. You're incredibly clueless." He saw the confused look in your eyes. "Y/N, guys go out of their way to simply make you look at them. I've seen the way they throw themselves at your feet, and you barely bat your pretty E/C eyes at them."
