Gosh what is the time..

Who is calling me now when I just slept..

I rolled on the bed to pick the phone from the side table having my eyes closed..

Thud!!!

"Oh God.. why are you doing this to me"

I stood up from the floor and picked up my phone..

I rubbed my sleepy eyes and looked at my phone..

My phone flashed Sahana's name..

I picked up the call knowing who it is..

A smile crept onto my sleep deprived face..

As soon as I accepted the call.. a little bundle of happiness attacked my phone with cute and bright smile..

"Abhiiiiiiii"

From Avi it has become Abhi now..

My little champ❤️

Its how his day starts.. and my early morning is always filled with his baby giggles and smiles..

"Good morning little champ"

Just then I heard a door open and close..

"Devuuuu!!!"

It was Sahana..

She looked like she had come out after a bath.. her hair was wet and dripping.. she was wearing a sky blue coloured kurta..

She looked beautiful as ever..

"Devuuu I told you not to call Abhi na.. he will be tired.."

He pouted looking at his mother..

"I'm so sorry Abhi.. I told him not to call you because of your night duty.. I knew you would have slept just now.. we can.."

I cut her off before she started her full blown explanation..

"Sahana it's fine.. I was just about to sleep.. I can go to sleep after talking to my little champ"

She shook her head "You have spoiled this naughty little one.. don't make excuses mister.. go to sleep.. I can see how tired you are.. he saw you na his day started with that.. we can talk afterwards.."

She turned towards Dev "Devu say bye to Abhi.. he is tired baby.. let him sleep now then he will talk to you.. see now you cannot even play with him.."

She again turned towards me "Now you go to sleep!! You treat patients and you need rest if you have function properly"

She disconnected the call making Dev say a goodbye to me..

Gosh!! She is strict!!

She has become very strict since I came here!!

She scolds me if I miss even one meal or fall ill or skip my sleep..

Fearing her I make sure to follow all that she says..

But there is one thing though.. she looks cute while she scolds me..

That cute pout on her lips and the angry crease on her forehead and her hands on her hip..

Hearing all the stories of her.. Yash and Karthik have already started to call her my wife..
