After our meeting at the police headquarters, we intended to visit the Anti Villa Mansion, but due to some reason, the family had requested we postpone our visit to the next day.

On our way back, Holmes sat silently in the back seat of the car, as if lost in thought. I, on the other hand, was patiently waiting for him to come out of his mind. On reaching our quarters, I asked him what were his observations and why did he comment that someone in the police force was altering all the records related to the case. He said," My dear Paul when we reached the headquarters, we were received by a very new guy, who seemed to have just joined the force. He was new and had no intel on the case. He was there, only to not let any information come out. Otherwise usually, an officer who is involved or has some form of information would gladly have come. Secondly, the number of people outside Light's office increased when we entered his compartment. That is quite unusual as everyone knows the reason as to why I was present over there. So, that indicates that someone was trying to keep a note of what we are discussing and talking about. Later, in the morgue, the body was quite moved from its original position as there were uneven freezing patches on the bench. Then the meeting was just a way of finding out who was the one most interested in this murder case. So, that's all for the moment. " Hearing this, I had one more question, but on seeing that Holmes was more indulged in the flames of fire, I decided to call it a night.
