A Heartbreaking Sadness

Marinette sat next to Luka as he slowly played her melody. She let the tears fall now, but they weren't in sadness. Luka's melody was just so beautiful, she felt everything he was trying to tell her. That he loves her. That he'll be there for her. that she can always be herself with him. But the last still wasn't true.

After all, she's Ladybug. She still has to lie all the time to be both Ladybug and Marinette. Today was just so exhausting. First, the Bourgeois couple are akumatized, then Chloé joins Hawk Moth and Mayura, Master Fu makes the sacrifice while losing his memory and now the biggest thing is that she's the new guardian of the Miraculouses.

As if it was hard before, this will be a huge new challenge. Now she would have to stop her parents from coming into her room, lie even more and perhaps give up on all of her dreams to protect Paris. Well, the good news was that she still wasn't completely alone. She had Cat Noire by her side and of course Tikki. the little ladybug kwami would always have her back. No matter what. Marinette could already feel Tikki in her purse leaning to the side, trying to hug her.

When the song stopped, Luka turned to Marinette. "Well? Did you like it?" he asked softly. Marinette smiled happily and clapped softly like a child. "It was beautiful and perfect." she said. Luka opened his mouth to say more, but then there was a loud Applause, causing both of them to turn around.

Adrien and Kagami...

They were...

KISSING!

Right there, after setting their ice cream down in between them, Adrien's hand was on her cheek, while Kagami's hands were around his neck and they were kissing.

And Marinette's heart broke into a million pieces all over again. 

But she was still happy for them. After all, according to Kagami during the battle with <Heart Hunter> that she didn't want to hurt her, because she was the only friend Kagami had. And she was happy, but also sad that Adrien, the one she loved more than anything was being loved by Kagami.

She looked at everyone there, most from her class and some friends.  Luka was with her, playing his guitar, next were Marc and Nathaniel, who were looking at Nathaniel's sketchbook, then Ivan and Mylene (AKA: The Class 𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒𝒷𝒾𝓇𝒹𝓈" Ivan was playing the drum while Mylene was listening to the rhythm, then Max and Alix who were discussing something about combining robotics with Alix's rollerblades. Then Rose and Juleka (AKA: The Class 𝒮𝑜𝓊𝓁𝓂𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓈) just like Nino and Alya Then Kim and his girlfriend Odine (AKA: The Little Mermaid).

Everyone, even herself stopped what they were doing and clapped. But deep inside of her, Marinette was having a turmoil of emotions. Finally, she got up and everyone turned to her. She quickly cleared her throat and found a great lie to excuse herself. "Everyone, I really had a great time but I think I had enough relaxation for one day." she said with a smile. Everyone else nodded. "Affirmative. We should do this again sometime." Max said with excitement. Everyone else nodded. With that, they all went home.

Marinette ran back home as fast as she could and finally when she reached her bed. All the emotions she bottled up came out as she collapsed sobbing, while Tikki stroked her hair, trying to help a poor broken girl. Marinette then opened one of the last things she had left of Master Fu. His letter.
