There are a lot of things that make me happy, yet most of the time I am feeling something that isn't happiness.

Happy, what a general concept actually. I really don't know how to start this chapter so I will do the following thing: search the definition of "happy".

happy/ˈhapi/adjectivefeeling or showing pleasure or contentment."Melissa came in looking happy and excited".

-The definition of happy by Oxford Languages.

Feeling pleasure or contentment. When do I feel contentment? I feel contentment when I hang out with friends, I know it sounds non-original (which I hate) but it is true, however, I feel really empty after hanging out with them. I start overthinking about what I said or did and that's something I can't avoid. I'm sure I will overthink way more about some people than about my real friends but I still can't help it. So, at the end, I don't know if I would consider hanging out with friends something that makes me feel happy, eventhough I like a lot being with them.

Listening to music is a thing that I like a lot and you will definetly hear about that in another chapter, but that doesn't mean that makes me feel happy. Music can make you feel angry, sad, energetic, calm, happy... So it isn't something I would consider only "happy" either.

And now we are again at the start point, what makes me happy? What makes me feel contentment or pleasure?

Skiing is something that I love. I am not a profesional at it, not even close, but I love it. When I'm skiing I can't think of anything else, I feel free and very very excited but mostly I feel contentment. So skiing is something that definetly makes me happy.

I have this notebook where I draw and I stick stuff and I once made a short list of concepts and things that make me happy, or how the tittle says exactly: things I love and adore and want and desire.

-Not having air after laughing and then breathing.

-Listen to a sad song being played live.

-Hugs.

-Halloween.

-Make homemade stuff at 1:00 am.

-Sing a song that I know by heart.

-Write letters to people knowing that they'll never read them.

-Listen to music in my room with colored lights.

-Read a GOOD book.

-Skiing.

-Give people presents.

-Travel.

-Summer.

-Bake a chocotorta.

-The city of Buenos Aires.

-Play RockBand.

-Improvise songs with the band.

-Listen to music on the bus.

I guess those are the things that really make me happy. How do I really know that? Because I smiled when I was copying the list. I smiled remembering each one of the feelings. I was so inspired when I wrote all of that, I don't even know how I came up with all of that. I wrote it in this kind of diary, I wrote it in spanish (my main language) and with my favourite pen while listening to my favourite music. Then I draw a bunch of hearts around it and, lastly but not least important, I wrote it with a lot and a lot of happiness, while I cried in my room.

I guess that's how I came up with all the stuff that makes me happy, or the stuff that I love, adore, want and desire.
