So writing about my favourite movie doesn't make me feel exactly excited because it's a very classic and typical topic.
I have seen a lot of good movies, like: The Matrix, Le Haine, Fight Club, Green Book... But I don't have a very specific opinion about it. I always say that my favourite movie is Ratatouille because, if you think about it, it is genius: a rat that cooks... (not crystal meth, Jesse). But seriously, a rat that is a cheff in Paris and ends up owning a restaurant. Basically the main reason why I consider this my favourite movie is because I feel like I could watch it again and again and I would never be tired of it.
I do have some other favourite movies that aren't as childish, like for example: Green Book (that is a movie that is set in the 50s and, eventhough it is mainly about racism, it's kind of funny). I also really liked Fight Club, it's a difficult movie to understand and it is crazy and that's really cool. I really liked the music (specially the last scene) and I liked a lot of things about it but I wouldn't say it's my favourite movie.
I'm still fifteen and I still have a lot of movies to watch.
I'm not that kind of people that are like: I've been watching 18+ movies since I was ten so I am not scared of anything. The only time I watched a 18+ movie was when I went to the cinema with my friends last october. Halloween was near so they played these scary movies. We watched one that was 18+ and, I got scared, I am not going to lie, but it wasn't that bad. And also, Fight Club is also an 18+ movie and that makes sense because that movie, as I said, it's just crazy.
The worst part is when at the end of the movie it says: based on real facts. That just makes the movie ten times scarier.
Same happens with sad movies. I hate sad movies more than I hate the scary ones. If the sad movie is just a normal one is okay, but the moment that the plot involves animals then I can assure you I will cry during the whole thing.
I remember that my dad downloaded a movie about dogs that lived on the north pole. The owners had to leave for a year and they left the twelve dogs outside tied up for some reason. They kept showing how the dogs survived and a lot of them died. It was very sad. After a year the owners came back and they only found three of them. I spent the whole movie crying very hard, and I have to say, I was eight years old when I watched so maybe it's not that sad for me now (eventhough it would still be very sad).
My dad kept complaining about how much I cried. And at the end it said: based on real facts. I think they should put that at the beginning so that you are warned.
I also am not a fan of superhero movies. Comparing them to scary and sad movies they are so much better and I can really see them. I just feel like superhero movies are too stereotypical and non-original. I have never seen a superhero movie where something unexpected happens.
But that just depends on what you like personally.
So the conclusion is, I don't have a favourite movie so... Yeah.
