The full moon shines down brightly and lovingly on the calm night, with clouds filtered about the dark sky.
The hustle and bustle of camp has calmed down, now with only a few small chats and the sound of Sky carving wood can be heard alongside the crackling of the fire.Anxiety stays rooted in Wilds chest, never faltering even for a second. He knows he should work on telling the others, but he doesn't know how to go about it. Who does he tell next?
Those thoughts are interrupted by a familiar tug at his soul. He looks around and sees the others stopping what they're doing.
Time is first to stand up. "Alright, pack your stuff." He says, already gathering his items and strapping his weapons onto his back.
Hyrule yawns and stands up, rolling up his bed roll. "This late?"
Legend groans. "Here we go again." He complains. Wars rolls his eyes at him.
"Chipper up, maybe we'll end up in your hyrule!" He offers.
"Or in a monster camp." Four mumbles, dread clear on his face. Everyone knows how hard switching is for him, all they can hope for is that he won't regurgitate his dinner this time. And hopefully not pass out either.
As the pull grows stronger, the faster they pack. And soon enough they're following the pull until they reach the familiar swirling dark portal. Everyone knows the drill, pick your partners and get up in pairs of three. In the off chance they get separated, it's best to be in a group in case of trouble. They learned that one the hard way.
"I wanna go with Wild!" Wind exclaims, running up to said champion.
In response, he smiles and nods. "Sure thing, Sailor. Who wants to to go with?" He looks around. Twilight looks like he's about to speak up, but Sky beats him to it.
"Can I? We haven't gone together in a while!" he asks. Wild nods and gestures him over.
After that, Time, Twilight and Four get in a group, and Warriors, Legend and Hyrule get in one.
"Everyone ready?" Wars asks, looking around one last time to make sure everyone has their partner. Several
"yup"s and "mhm"s sound throughout, and the tug begins to worsen."Let's go then." Hyrule speaks. Him, Legend and Wars are first to go. After them is Time, Twilight and Four. Sky, Wind and Wild grab hold of each other and pass through the portal.
First thing they notice is the freezing cold. Wind groans, shaking off the dizziness he looks around to see a winter wonderland. "Snow? Great." He speaks, sarcasm practically dripping off his words.
Wild is first to stand up. He looks around and climbs up the nearest tree. It's slippery and cold, but he doesn't seem to mind. Reaching the top, he looks around. Squinting in the distance, he can see Vah Ruta perched in the distance. He smiles, "We're in my hyrule!" He calls out, sliding down the tree and pulling the sheikah slate out to examine the map. "Right now we're in Necluda, in Naydra snowfield to be exact."
Meanwhile, Wind and Sky are hugging themselves tightly, shivering harshly from the cold.
"That's nice, can we start a fire?" Wind asks, his teeth chattering.
Only now does Wild notice how hard he's shivering as well. "Oh, hang on, I've got warm clothes!" He says as he pulls out the sheikah slate. "I have two snowquil headdresses, two snowquil tunics, two pairs of snowquil boots, and cold resistant foods. That should be enough to keep us warm." He starts to pull out the items.
Wind and Sky exchange worried looks. "But, there's only enough for two of us?"
"You only need two cold resistant items to keep warm, so we have enough." Wild explains. He hands Wind a snowquil tunic and headdress, Sky snowquil pants and tunic, and he himself gets snowquil tunic and headdress.
"I'd get dressed quickly if I were you. I'll put your clothes in my slate." He says, and everyone nods and turns their backs to each other.
