"(Y/N), will you put Kokoro in her highchair, please?" Mom calls from the kitchen, the sound of the rice maker going off and dishes being laid out almost drowns her out.

"Sure!" In the living room Kokoro sits on the floor staring up at the TV. Right now it's on some random commercial, but she doesn't care.

I crouch down and reach my arms out towards her. "Mom said it's time for dinner, Ko." She reaches out to me and giggles. I turn off the TV before walking over to the dinner table and putting Ko in her highchair.

It's been a week since the entrance exam, and I've yet to get the results. Uraraka and I have texted a few times since the exam, but mostly just asking if one or the other had gotten a letter from UA yet. Spoiler alert - no.

I sit down in my own chair next to Ko. "Hero?" She asks looking at me. Kokoro is only two years old and already has a love for heros, so ever since I told her I was going to school to be one it has been her conversation starter.

I shrug and tilt my head at her. "I don't know yet." She pouts at me as Mom comes out of the kitchen, balancing three plates. I quickly take one from her.

She places one in front of Ko before sitting down herself and pouring each of us some tea. "It's been a week, you should get it tonight or tomorrow," she says setting the pitcher of tea down.

I pick up my chopsticks and sigh. "I thought I had ten points, but I think I was wrong - plus I stopped to help someone, so I ran out of time." I pick up some rice and eat it.

Mom picks up a napkin and wipes Ko's face. "Stop, you're making a mess." Ko giggles as Mom wipes her face and pulls away. "They probably look at those type of things though, yes?"

I shrug. "They didn't say anything about something like that."

Mom sighs. "I'll check the mail after everyone's done eating and I put her to b-e-d," she whispers the last part, twitching in Kokoro's direction.

"Bed!" We both look at Kokoro. "Bed!" She repeats.

Mom and I look back at each other and burst out laughing.

After dinner I was assigned washing the dishes while Mom put Ko to sleep and left to check the mail.

I dry off the last bowl before putting it away in the cupboard and wiping my hands.

I hear the front door open and close. I walk out of the kitchen to see Mom taking off her shoes and putting on her slippers.

She stands straight up and holds out a white envelope with red wax holding it closed. "Look what I found for (F/N) (L/N)."

I take the envelope from her and peel away the wax seel. A hologram disk is the only thing in the envelope.

I hold it up for her to see. "It's a video."

She puts her keys down in a bowl next to the front door. "Go watch it in your room, I don't want it to wake Kokoro."

I  nod and run off to my room, closing the door behind me. I sit on the side of my bed, staring down at the hologram disk preparing myself for the worse.

I click the 'play' button on the side of the disk and a screen displays in the air.

"Boo-ya! I am here as a hologram!" All Might walks on screen wearing a fancy yellow suit.

"All Might?" I talk to the hologram of All Might - like he can hear me.

"The truth is, I didn't come to this city just to fight villains. You're looking at the newest UA faculty member!" All Might stands up straighter, placing his hands on his hips. "Sadly, you only scored two points in the combat exam - the lights on the robots meant nothing!"
