Hero x Reader ! Requested by Treeone2! Didn't specify if male reader or female reader, so just reader who uses they/them ! I'm not exactly good with x readers, this is my first time making one so i hope you enjoy reading this. I tried my best to speedfinish this so that I can work on the other stuff i have. (I have 8 other drafts LMAO)

'Finally, it's summer break!' Y/N cheered in their thoughts. This year has been an absolute HELL for Y/N, and finally it's over. Y/N had plans to visit one of their friends, Hero. They used to go to school together, until Hero had to move back to his hometown sadly.

Hero and Y/N's private chat

Hero, guess what?:

Hero: What is it?

I'm gonna be visiting you at Faraway!:

Hero: Wait what?! I didn't prepare for any of this!

Yep! It's a surprise :) :
So you better start preparing now!:

Hero: Right after I clean the dishes.

Y/N turned off their phone, and started packing up essentials such as clothes, their soap, just basic stuff. But not too much, they won't be staying for long anyway.

Today is finally the day. They were taking a Taxi to get to Faraway. Y/N wondered what would Hero's reaction be when they arrive at his door? They thought of several scenarios until they realised they were already here.

They walked slowly, kind of hesitating to knock, yet they did. 'Knock Knock'. Suddenly the door opened slowly and there appeared Hero and a small child by his leg. "Hi, Hero! It's me- Y/N!" "Y/N, you didn't tell me this was gonna be the day you would arrive!" "Oh, I didn't mention that? Sorry!"

Y/N entered the mostly-clean house. There were several pictures on the walls, and a very comfy couch! They noticed the small child following Hero around so they decided to ask; "Who's that kid following you?"

"Oh, that's Sally! She's my younger sister." "She's adorable!"

A/N: Past this point I have lost my ideas for fillers. Also, Kel's just in his room doing gamer stuff all night. Thats why he isnt coming out of nowhere to burn the kitchen for the 5th time.

It was now night, specifically around 8:30pm. Y/N was setting up the mattress they will be sleeping on tonight. Once they were done, they walked to the living room. "So, what do you do during the night?" They asked the Brown-haired man. "Well, I don't really do much since i'm usually asleep by now, but I just do the chores." "That's boring stuff! Hey, how about we watch a movie?" "Well, sure."

Y/N opened the Netflix app they had on their phone, and showed a bunch of movies. "What kind of movie would you prefer?" They asked once again. "Anything would do fine. Anything BUT spider-related ones." "Heh, alright."

Y/N chose a movie they thought would be a nice one, but instead it was actually a horror one. Whoops. They seemed to be kind of scared over some parts of the movie.

Suddenly..

BAAM!

Thunder strikes. At the worst moment possible. Y/N was clearly trembling at this point. To calm them down , Hero turned off the movie and gave them a warm hug, one that would make you feel at peace. Y/N quite enjoyed it, slight blushing on their face, though Hero did not notice it. The sweet hug lasted for a few minutes, just enough time to calm Y/N down. "It's just a movie, and thunder doesn't have to be something to be afraid of. It can't hurt you, take note of that." Hero says.

Y/N smiles.
