A white minivan backed into the driveway of a cute two-story house. A boy with messy brown hair wearing a large black t-shirt and red and black hat stepped out of the car, looking like he just woke up from a nap.
"Help me carry in some boxes, honey! We have a lot of unpacking to do!" A woman almost the same height as the boy said. She looked wide-awake as if she drank a little too much coffee.
"Alright, mom..." The brown-haired boy said as he picked up a cardboard box filled with who-knows-what and carried it inside the house.
"Look at this great empty space! I could place a lamp there, and we can put our old couch right there against the wall..." The brown-haired boy's mom said, looking around the house with stars in her eyes.
The brown-haired boy placed the box on the ground and looked at his mother with tired eyes. "Mom, your fantasizing about decorating homes again." He said.
"Hey, what's this moody attitude I'm getting from you? We moved to one of the liveliest cities in Unova, Nimbasa City! Have you seen the green and orange fences? It's so cool!" She said, putting her hand on the boy's shoulder.
The boy moved his shoulder away from his mother's hand. "What are you trying to tell me?" He asked.
The boy's mother went silent. "This new school will be different from your old one. Trust me, alright?"
More silence.
The boy sighed, and looked at his mother's sympathetic eyes. "Alright... I'll get another box. Thanks, mom..."
"Thanks, Black!!" The boy's mother shouted before going to start unpacking the boxes.
