"Are you crazy? This is a beach, and there's sand everywhere and shit Y/N." You smiled a little, "I'm just fucking with you Leone." "You wish you were," He mumbled. He walked out to where the wave came up, just barely touching the water. "Chilly tonight," He commented. "No swimming?" "No swimming. We can always come back at a better time to." You nodded, stepping into the water, holding up your pantlegs. Leone smiled a little, walking out with you.

"I missed it here." "I did too." You were both sitting I'm his car now, just taking in the peace of being around each other again. "Leone," You looked over and he looked back, "I missed you." He glanced away, "I miss you too." You took notice to his word, smiling a little. You moved your hand to his, not holding it but gently setting it on top, he glanced down, not saying anything. "Y/N-" "Leone-" You both interrupted each other, flushing from embarrassment. "It feels so nostalgic to just sit in here with you again," He said quietly, "Did you want to go home now?" You shrugged, "I like being with you, it's a nice feeling." "Then we can stay till you're ready." You smiled a little, rubbing the top of his hand with your thumb. "You seem troubled," He commented, looking at you, "Is everything okay?" You glanced away and then back at him, "It's just.. I'm worried about Bruno. With his dad and family, he seems so off now," You said sadly, "I'm so worried about him Leone, I just don't know what to do to help." "Are you going to the funeral?" You nodded, "I am too, we can all go do something after like we used to in freshman year. I think it'll be good for all of us." You smiled to yourself, "That would be nice, he'd enjoy it a lot." "We'd enjoy it a lot," He corrected you, holding your hand.

Another hour of talking went by, you couldn't help but feel some sort of happiness while being with Leone. "Oh and that guy? The one that walks you hime from work? What's his deal?" Leone asked, looking over at you. "He's just a friend, we met at the cafe," You replied, "I don't get why you guys are all getting your panties in a bunch about him, he's a nice guy. He's even in our grade and school." He bit his cheek a little, obviously it bothered him, "I don't trust him, what if he's trying to get into your pants?" "You know I'm too shy for that Leone," You gave him a soft smile, "Nothing bad will happen, I promise." You leaned over and kissed his cheek, he smiled a little but it faded rather fast. "Can I kiss you?" "No." You pouted a little, "Just one." He smiled a little, "Just one," He looked over and leaned in and you did as well, gently pressing your lips against his. You pulled away happily, "Thanks, I could always use your love," You said with a smile. He just rolled his eyes, a small smile forming against his lips as he started his car.

You sighed quietly as he pulled into the driveway. "Today was fun," You commented, looking over. He nodded, "Maybe we'll do it again someday." "I'll pay next time, will that convince you?" You joked. He laughed a little, looking at you with a smile, "As long as you pay we can do this as much as you'd like," He replied, turning off the car. He hopped out, walking over to open your door for you. You quickly went to beat him to it, barely getting it open. He closed it, waiting for you to take your hand off the handle; you sighed and silently obliged, removing your hand so he could open the door. You both walked into the house, immediately realizing everyone's gaze was on you both. Neither of you said anything, just went up to your rooms.

You flopped happily onto your bed, Trish opened and closed the door behind her. "Sooo, how'd it go?" She asked, sitting beside you. "Oh my god, it went so much better than I thought it would. The movie was fun and then we went out to dinner at the restaurant we always went to for dates and oh. My. God. It felt like we were dating again, it was just amazing! And then we went out to the spot we always went to on the beach and talked there for a while, it was so perfectly nostalgic," You exclaimed. The pink haired girl looked you in the eyes, "Do you have feelings for him again?" You gulped a little, "I-I don't know about that, I think I just like being around him and stuff still. I don't think I feel anything romantic," You sighed, "But it was still so much fun." She smiled, "I'm happy you're happy Y/N- Oh sorry, dad's calling." "When was the last time you two talked? It's been forever it feels like." "Talked last week before I went to work," She replied, "Did you want to say hi?" "You gave a brief nod, "Why not."
