You slipped on your work shoes, getting ready to leave the house. "Y/N, it's only noon, you don't work that early do you?" Trish asked, coming up to you. "I do, I have to go now." "When will you be home?" "9 as usual." You walked out the door, not saying anything else or giving her the chance to.

You made some coffee for yourself, it had been such a slow day and you were very, very grateful for it. Only maybe 8 people had came in and it was already 3pm. Formaggio walked in, "Hey Y/N," He said cheerfully, "I brought a friend for you to meet." You turned around, trying to give a smile. He walked in with a with blue, short hair who was taller and more built compared to Formaggio. "Um hi," You said quietly, "My name is Y/N, nice to meet you." "Feeling's mutual, I'm Risotto Nero." You looked at his dark scleras, fascinated by the black that reflected the red irises. "What can I get for you two?" "You know what I want," Formaggio said with a smile. "I'll just get the same as him, I haven't been here before." You nodded, "Alright, 10.40." Formaggio handed you the money, going to sit at the usual spot with Risotto sitting across from him, Formaggio stood up and grabbed a chair from a different table so that you'd be able to sit with them again. About 8 minutes later you joined them, setting their donuts and teas onto the table. You sat quietly as you listened to them talk, sipping at your own coffee, "So Y/N, what are you going to college for?" Risotto asked, looking over at you. "Oh, accounting but really just business overall." "Funny, I'm doing the same," The man replied, sipping from his cup. "Maybe we'll see each other pretty often then," You replied, "It'll be nice having a friend in at least some classes." "You're a pretty girl, you'll definitely have more than just one friend," Risotto said with a sly smile. Formaggio didn't say anything, just bit the inside of his cheek. You glanced over, a little confused but didn't question it.

They continued to talk with you for a while, learning more about you as you learned about them. "Are you still good for tomorrow?" Formaggio asked, you didn't know how to answer. You wanted to stay home and mourn but you also wanted to be with your friends and be happy. You felt stuck so you want eith your gut, "Yes, you can still pick me up right?" He nodded, "Yeah, I won't be late." You smiled a little, looking into your empty cup. "I'm going to get some more to drink, pardon me." You stood up and walked behind the counter, boiling some water as you got the grounds ready. You heard a thud from behind, you turned and they both looked guilty of hiding something, you just didn't know what. You went back to making your coffee, joining them a few minutes later.

4 turned 5, 6 turned to 7 and so on. "Oh I have to close, are you staying or leaving?" You asked, taking their dishes. "We can stay if you want," Formaggio said, smiling up at you. "I'd like that, thanks." You walked to the counter, setting the dishes down as you started to put everything away and turn everything off. You walked to the back of the store, washing the dishes and drying them before putting them away. "Alright everything is done Formaggio," You said, smiling at the two boys. "Mkay, let's go then," He stood up, opening the door for you and Risotto, "Oh Risotto, I walk her home so you can either stay or come with." "I'll come with," The brooding man replied, walking on the other side of you. You all walked quietly together, not saying much.

You stepped up onto the porch, turning to say goodbye. "5pm?" Formaggio asked, looking up at you. "5pm," You agreed, looking over at Risotto, "It was nice meeting you, I assume I'll see you tomorrow." He nodded, "Yeah I'll be there with the others you haven't met yet," He replied, "Careful though Miss Y/N, they might freak at the sight of a beauty like yourself." Your face tinted a little, "Guess we'll just have to see won't we?" You joked half-heartedly, "I'll see you both then, thanks for walking with me." They both waved, leaving the property. You took off your shoes, heading upstairs to your room, Narancia passing you. Neither of you said anything, just kept walking.

You laid in bed quietly, looking at the moon through your window. "Y/N? It's Narancia," You heard a soft voice from your door. "Come in," You sat up, trying to look semi decent. "I just came up to check on you, I'm a little worried." Wrong person to worry about Nari. "Thank you for checking on me Narancia, I appreciate it." He nodded, "I... I found this, thought maybe you'd want to see it too," He handed you a small, framed photo of yourself, Narancia, your mother, and the cat you had as a child that had sadly passed during high school. You felt your eyes well with tears as you looked at it, "N-Nari.." You couldn't get the words out, you could only think them. "I'm here Y/N, you know I am," He said, setting the photo down beside him, pulling you in for a hug. You held onto him, resting your forehead on his shoulder as you cried quietly. "I'll always be here Y/N, no matter what happens," He whispered, rubbing the back of your head and back with his hands. You two stayed like that for a few minutes before there was a knock, "I'll go-" "No p-please stay Nari," You begged, not wanting to let go. He gave a soft smile, "I'm just going to see who it is dummy, I'm not leaving the room." He stood up, walking over to the door, cracking it open. There were something hushed words exchanged but enough for you to hear that it was Fugo. Narancia closed the door and walked back over to you, sitting beside you again, letting you lean on him for comfort. "I love you Nari," You whispered, "I love you too N/N," He whispered back, kissing the top of your head, "I always will." Even if it's hopeless, he thought to himself. You smiled a little and started to nod off, trying to stay awake. "Let's get some rest hm?" You nodded against his shoulder, moving to lay down, "I'll stay till you're asleep okay?" "Thanks Narancia," You said softly, setting your hand on his as you started to fall asleep.
