You sat quietly as Giorno drove the hospital, Trish in the front with him, Narancia and Guido in the back with you. "Y/N," You glanced up as Giorno said your name, "What did you see last night?" "Uh Giorno I don't think she's ready to answer that, it hasn't been that long-" "It's okay Guido, don't worry," You assured him, you sighed a little and looked up at the windshield, "After I woke up I went to apologize to Bruno for my outburst at the funeral, I knocked on his door and he didn't answer so I looked inside and he was gone. I was going to come downstairs but I saw the bathroom was closed so I knocked twice and no one answered so I peeked under and saw all the blood and that's when I called for Leone," You continued, "And then.. When Leone and Guido bust down the door, he was just covered. His eyes looked dead and he was the most pale I've ever seen him, the blood was everywhere and his wrists and stomach were just-" "That's enough, thank you Y/N." You looked back down at the floor. Narancia set a hand on your shoulder, looking over at Guido for help. "Um Y/N, maybe we can all go to our hangout spot from freshman year after this?" Guido asked cautiously, "To help all of us." You thought for a moment at his words, "Let's just check on Bruno first, I want him to be okay before anything."

You walked into the hospital holding onto Narancia's and Trish's hands. "We're here to see Bruno Bucciarati," Giorno told the receptionist. Her eyes went dark, she sighed a little, "Ah yes the boy... Go to room 74, down that hallway. I assume the other two are friends as well, the ones who came in the ambulance I mean." "Oh yes, they're friends. Thank you ma'am." You all followed the blonde, every step feeling weaker as you approached the room. You let go of Narancia and Trish when you saw Fugo sitting in the hall, Leone coming to join him. "L-Leone," You rushed up past Giorno, your ex's eyes seemed to show decades of pain and disturbance as they connected with yours. "He uh.." He rested his head in his hands, "Y/N should see him last, he has some words for her." "Well why don't we just all go in and then leave them alone?" Trish offered quickly, "It's not fair to exclude one of us, this is very, very important and painful to all of us." "You make a good point Trish," Leone replied, "Do what's best then."

You followed Guido and Giorno into the room where Bruno laid atop a hospital bed, covered in bandages and liquids flowing through him. "You guys came?" He choked out, "Is Y/N here too?" "Yes, everyone is here for you Bruno. We're all very worried about you," Giorno told him. "I'm fine, don't worry. I'm worried about how it effected all of you," He looked over to Narancia, "I'm sorry Narancia, you seem to be taking care of everyone with Trish." "It's okay Bruno, we all want you to be okay." He continued to thank everyone for coming and trying to reassure everyone he'd be okay. "I'll he back home this week, I'm perfectly fine," He said with a small smile. You felt Trish grab your hand as she tried to hold back tears, you held her hand, trying to do whatever you could to calm her and to calm yourself. Everyone stayed for a little longer before they left the room for you and Bruno to be alone in. "Is there something you needed to tell me Bruno?" You asked, taking a seat beside the bed. "I'm sorry for what I did to you. I realize how hard things have been for you recently and I acted out-" "Don't say that Bruno, it's not about me, it's about you. You're going through so much more than me, you have to take care of yourself first before you can take care of me." He sighed a little, "Can I hold your hand again?" You nodded, intertwining your fingers with his, "I realize you're the one who found me," He said quietly, "I never wanted you to see me like that, I'm sorry you had to. I wad trying to hide it from you for so long and it ended up with you being the first to find out." You felt your lip quiver, "When I grabbed you in the kitchen, you winced.. what did you do to yourself?" "I think you already know if you're asking." "How long were you doing it for Bruno?" "I knew my dad didn't have much longer, I came in everyday after I'd work (Bruno works midday usually but sometimes graveyard shifts) and after I realized it was going to be over, I just couldn't handle it. It's been a couple weeks now." "W-Why... Why didn't you tell me? I would've help-" "Because I didn't want to hurt you and scare you. I know you care about me and I care about you so I didn't want to make your worry about me." You felt a tear roll down your cheek as he spoke to you. He tried to smile but he started to cry a little as well, "It always pained me to see you cry Y/N, I never want to see you in pain." "I-I'm in pain when you're in pain Bruno," You wiped your tears with your free hand, "I love you so much and I could never imagine a life without you, you're too important to me." He smiled a little as he held your hand a little tighter, "I'll be back home this week and then you'll never have to see me like this again." "Promise me you'll never try again Bruno." "I promise you Y/N." You both looked up as a tall man walked in, a sad look on his face. "Oh are you his girlfriend?" "She's my closest friend, she can hear whatever you have to say." "Ah, good thing you have each other right now," The doctor sighed a little, "Bruno Bucciarati, as per protocol to make sure you're safe, you're being transferred to a different hospital. A more... professional place that specializes in mental health. A psych ward essentially. You'll be there a minimum of two weeks and if you're showing progress at the end of the two weeks, you'll be able to go home. If you don't, you'll be required to stay till deemed safe to leave." "B-But I have to work and I have to be with my friends-" "I don't mean to be rude but I would've considered that before you tried to end your life. You'll still be here for a while till your wounds heal and then you'll still be treated while there." You gripped his hand tighter, "C-Can I go see him? Will I be able to talk to him?" "You'll be able to call everyday but I don't know about visitation, when he's transferred you could go with and ask." "Thank you sir, we have no other questions." The doctor once again left you two alone as you both sat, unsure how to feel. "B-Bruno.." "I'm sorry I got you into this situation. You're too good of a friend to be helping me right now," He sighed, "Y/N don't come see me, it won't be good for you." "But I need you Bruno, I have to come see you." He rubbed your hand with his thumb, unsure of what to say to soothe you. "I'll come by everyday at any hospital you're in, I'm not letting you do this alone." "I'll come by everyday after work and stay the night, I'll bring clothes and everything." "Y/N you don't have to-" "I want to." He smiled a little, "I love you Y/N." Your heart stopped for a second, "I-I love you too Bruno."
