Part 15 - Today, tomorrow and Always

After 3 years

Sidharth was now one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. Almost all his movies were hits. Shehnaaz was also successful, but unlike Sid, she was not able to grab any movies as lead. She had acted in several hit web series, she was also part of many movies as second leads, but she never got a big breakthrough. She was approached by several directors for leading roles, but they wanted her to cast in the movie so that Sidharth agrees to work with them. She always refused such projects not because Sidharth would not agree but because she wanted people to take her because of her skills and not for Sidharth's success.

Last 3 years, have been a blessing for Shehnaaz. She learnt so many things from Sidharth, understanding how the industry works. But she was still so pure and innocent. Things were good between SIDNAAZ, they usually had fun but sometimes had their tom and jerry fights which got resolved by day's end (thanks to Sana manaofying skills). Since Siddharth was the busier one so Sana always adjusted her calendar to make sure they have their personal time.

Ken: Sana, aaj ki success party ke liye ye dress aachi hai?

Sana: Hayee Ken, mujhe bilkool nahi jana. Aaj ki party mein koi aisa nahi hai jisse mere baat hoti hai. Sidharth to sabke saath smile karke baith jata hai. Mujhe mazza nahi aata, sab hamesha English mein hi baat karte hai.

Ken: Sana, Bakwaas mat kar. Itni successful movie hai uski aur tujhe gossip ke liye log chahiye. Support karne nahi jayegi.

Sana: Haan naa Sachi!! Sidharth kitna bada ho gaya hai. Hayee aisa mat bol, main bahut khush hu. Who jitna kamayega main utna makeup khareed paungi. She chuckled at her own joke. Ken rolled his eyes; she did not change, not even a bit.

SIDNAAZ were twinning for the party. Sana wore a single shoulder black gown looking like a diva and Sidhart was in his black suit.

Karan: Welcome Sidharth. And look who do we have here, our stunning Shehnaaz. How are you darling?

'I am good Sir. Aap kaise ho?' Shehnaaz said giving cheek-kiss.

'Sana, abhi tak Sir. Start calling me Karan. Main Sid ka friend tha, ab main tumhara friend hu' Karan said and turned towards Sid 'So Sid, when are you guys ringing the bells?'

Sid smiled at his question 'Karan, I am sure with all your resources, you will know the dates even before me'

Sidharth was busy with the other people at the party whereas Sana was sitting by the pool with Myra (a model new to industry). Sana eyes then fell on a A-list actress Suhana who was falling on Sidharth, continuously flirting with him. Sana could see that Sidharth was uncomfortable, but he plastered a fake smile to not make situation uncomfortable.

'Are you ok with girls flirting with your man?' Myra asked observing Sana. 'I don't know. I mean aacha to nahi lagta but mujhe pata hai, he is loyal. But kya karein woh hai hi perfect, tabhi to sabko aacha lagta hai' She said admiring him from far. 'You are going to let her do what she is doing. I think you should go there, she will stop then' suggested Myra. 'Nahhh, let him suffer. With great power, I mean with great looks comes great responsibilities' she said casually while sipping her drink.

It was Sana's Birthday, and Sidharth had taken her for vacation in Maldives. They were relaxing and spending time only with each other after long. Sidnaaz were cuddled into each other on a pool bed of their private water bungalow.

Sidharth kissing her forehead said 'We should do this often. Don't you think Jaan?'. 'We do THIS almost every night Sidharth' Sana gave a cheeky reply. Sid rolled his eyes 'Baby, I can do THIS every morning, afternoon and night. Just try me. Though I was talking about vacation, but I like your interpretation better.' Sid said winking his eyes.

'Tere paas time hota hai itna vacation ka.' Sana complaint. 'Sorry Baby, but kaam rehta hain aa. Hum kitna ghumte hai but' Sidharth said defending himself.

Sana cut him in the middle: Main aati hu tere paas coz tu shooting karta hai wahan, vacation mat bol usko. Paapii hai tu kitna

Sid: Tu aise mat bol jaise tereko kaam nahi hota

Sana: Superstar tu hai, main to choti si actor hu kitna busy hongi. Though Sana was smiling but Sidharth understood that she was not happy with her career.

Sid: Sana tujhe pata hai main jab teri age ka tha tab maine sirf 2 serials kiye the usme se bhi ek flop. Aur tujhe dekh itni movies and series kar li tune. Tere Instagram followers kitni badi actress se jyada hai aur tu khud ko choti actress bolti hai.' He tried encouraging her, she could not see how much she had achieved for her age and how proud Sidharth was.

Sana started to think on what Sid said. She realized he was right, even Sidharth became successful after 38. Also, she realized she always kept her private life on priority. She had many times rejected offers as she wanted to be with Sidharth, so she adjusted her calendar. She had always kept Sidharth more important in her life compared to anything ('Mere liye mujhse important tu hai' Sana said in BB). She was the reason that their relation was so smooth. She smiled and said 'Meri maa kehti thi, Tu itni sundar hai ki bahut bahi heroin banegi, aur wo sach hi bolti hai'. Sid was happy to see her back in her smiling version.

For Birthday evening, Sidharth had planned for a romantic dinner with Sana on an isolated island. After dinner they were dancing in each other's arm when Sidharth went down on his knee's and took out a big diamond ring.

'Shehnaaz, We met three years ago and since then I have been the happiest man on earth. I never thought I was capable of loving anyone and now, I imagine of having a family with you, a small family with you, me and our two kids. I have already wasted so many years without you. Now all I want is you to be part of my life for today, tomorrow and always. I know I hardly express myself but you cant imagine how crazy I am about you. Even after 3 years, I get mesmerized just by your smile, I become restless if I don't see you. You are the most beautiful women in this world, not only from outside but your heart is the purest there can be. For me you are already my family, My wife. So, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Will you please marry me?'

Shehnaaz was surprised, it was a happy surprise. She had tears in her eyes she knew they will be married someday but still this proposal took her to cloud nine. 'YESSS' she shouted 'Ofcourse, it is a yes'

The sky was suddenly lit with firecrackers. Sidnaaz kissed each other, their love had only increased over time and it could be seen in their eyes which was now lost into each other.

They were sitting together on the beach with Sana's head resting on his shoulder and watching the fire show. 

'Tune itna sab kaise prepare kiya?' asked Sana. Sidharth did not reply but was smiling at her sheepishly 'Maine google kiya tha'. 'Speech bhi?' she asked widening her eyes. 'Speech ka standard dekh ke nahi lagta, khud maine likhi hai' he said dejected. 'Mere liye to sabse romantic speech thi' Sana smiled and kissed his cheeks.
