Harry Styles

Work has been piling up recently.

Aurora is just over 24 weeks pregnant, and it feels like I haven't got to spend anywhere near enough time with her since the weekend we were with Delilah.

I feel so shitty.

When I come over during the week, I'm in bed working, and Aurora's lying next to me in silence.

I miss her more than anything.

I'm expecting Aurora any minute now, my lunch break having started 3 minutes ago– but I'm still working. I can't not.

I shouldn't have accepted that extra job, but I didn't think the editing would take this long. My camera setting must've been messed up without me realising, because the exposure is almost too low to the point of not being able to save it. Luckily, I'll be able to fix the problem, but when you're sending a company over 300 photos, all edited and ready to be placed online, it takes a lot longer than I ever schedule for.

My door creaks open and when I connect my eyes the beautiful hazel eyes that belong to Aurora, my heart smiles. I am quick to motion her over to me, and with a smile she walks behind my desk and I pull her sideways onto my lap.

I kiss all over her neck and the side of her face I can reach, only stopping when I hear her laughing. I pull back and lean us both back on my chair, enjoying having her in my arms for a little bit.

I watch as Aurora inspects my work, leaning forwards with my arms still around her to scroll through the rest of the photos that are meant to be done by the end of the day.

She turns around quickly and gets off my lap, "Harry! What are you doing! You have over 100 photos to edit by 6pm– and you're spending your lunch with me?"

I grip on her hips, pulling her back down on top of me, nuzzling my face in her neck as I nod, "You're more important."

She yanks her head back and looks at me sternly, "Fuck no, Harry. I'm gonna go get you lunch and by the time I get back, you're gonna have 3 photos edited and ready to go. We'll eat lunch together and then I'll go home and continue on my latest piece, and you're going to stay here and continue so you can meet your deadline, okay?"

I sigh and try and bring her back to me, but she only steps backwards. With an unintentional sad face, I nod. She kisses my cheek and lets me kiss the bump before she leaves, shouting over to me to text her what I want from the sandwich shop.

I send her a quick text, letting her know what I want for lunch, and she immediately responds, bullying me over my choice of pickles.

God I love her.

I manage to put my phone down again, placing it on my personalised do not disturb setting– meaning I only get messages from Aurora, my mum and my stepdad.

They're the 3 most important people to me, and it would kill me if I missed a message from any one of them during a working period when my phone is mostly turned off.

With my body and heart missing my two girls, I sigh and roll my chair closer to my desk and resume the editing process.

I don't even notice time slipping away until a knock at the door is heard. Expecting it to be Aurora, I just shout across the room, "It's open!"

Already missing my beautiful Aurora, I look up from the Mac, watching as the door opens. I'm shocked when Aurora doesn't walk in, instead it's a lady that works in one of the offices on the bottom floor, who's name I've never quite caught.

With clear surprise to my tone, I sit up as I speak, "Oh, hi. Is there anything I can do for you?"

She motions to sit in the chairs that are on the other side of my desk and I nod, waiting for her to start talking. When she does, I find myself getting confused, but mostly annoyed. "Hi, um, I know you don't know me, but my names Claire and I work downstairs, and I, uh, I just wanted to apologise for something."
