As Dove is currently with Anne, me and Harry are getting dressed ready for the social worker to come and visit, inspecting the house and asking us a lot of in depth and gruelling questions in preparation for Harry to adopt Dove.

We placed our application in as soon as we got home, Anne helping us and connecting us with her best trusted family solicitor, and now finally after 3 months, we are ready for our first meeting– the one which decides if we can carry on with the adoption process, or if that's it.

If the social worker doesn't believe Harry has a right or a reasonable ground to adopt Dove, then that's our chance gone.

The likelihood of that is low, but we still aren't guaranteed anything.

So we get dressed in casual yet put together outfits, Harry in a pair of red corduroy jeans, a graphic white tee and a patterned blue shirt left open on his chest.

For the first time around Harry, I wear jeans, not having been a large fan of maternity jeans or the constricting feeling when pregnant

For the first time around Harry, I wear jeans, not having been a large fan of maternity jeans or the constricting feeling when pregnant. His face lights up as he sees the denim on my legs, his hands sliding up and down my thighs as I stare into the closet, trying to find a top to go with them.

His hand extends in front of me, pulling a strapless white top off the hanger, holding it out in front of me, kissing my neck before murmuring against it, "This one."

I smile at the item I haven't worn in over a year, honestly forgetting about it. I take it out of his hands and replace my current bra with a strapless one, showing Harry the full outfit before even looking in a mirror myself.

He grins and his hands clap together, a wide smile on his face, "I've been waiting for you to wear this."

I laugh as I turn to look at myself, smiling at the detailing in the material, "Since when?"

He grins at me, a memory clearly flashing in his brain, "Since I packed up your bedroom and moved you in here

He grins at me, a memory clearly flashing in his brain, "Since I packed up your bedroom and moved you in here."

I can't help the shameless grin that takes over my face, my hands meeting behind his neck as my fingers play with his dark curly hair, my feet bending up onto my tiptoes to press a heavy yet short kiss into his lips, "Thank you for doing that by the way."
