You were a nervous wreck, even deciding your clothing had been a challenge. Usually, you would've gone for some casual clothing, but you wanted to at least look slightly presentable.

Now the questions in your mind were, 'What if you didn't look good?' 'What if it's too hot, or cold?' But you finally decided to wear *You choose, * with an added flannel of *You Pick the Color. * (The jacket/flannel is important, but it won't come back until wayyyy further down the story)

You stepped out to your car, which had been paid for by your parents on your 17th birthday. You chucked the flannel (Or again, it can be a jacket) into the passenger seat. You sat down on the driver's side and pulled up the directions Shelby (The person you had spoken to) had given you.

After a short drive without traffic, you were in the huge parking lot. You were an entire hour earlier than planned as you had taken into consideration that traffic would probably be a pain. But it hadn't been, and it really couldn't be if it didn't exist. But now with all this extra time, you had no idea what you could do to entertain yourself.

You went to the standard course of action, plugging your phone into the car plug and playing games. Obviously, you didn't do anything too battery draining since you still wanted enough charge to last you the day. Anything that would cure your boredom for the next 40-50 minutes would easily satisfy you for the hour.

You finally decided to head inside at 7:53, hopping out of your car and stuffing your keys into your pocket you walked up to the entrance. Peering inside through the sparkling glass doors. The neon colors of red, white, blue, pink, and green caught your eye almost instantly. In honesty, it gave you a boost of courage to continue forth into the Pizzaplex.

The creeping sensation of hope crawled through your spine at the gaping opportunity presented before you. You stepped onto the checkered tiled floor, looking up and around at the design choices made for the large mall. Pillars... Columns... Large Areas... A Huge Freddy Statue... Gift Shops... Light Strips... Advertisement Posters... A Large Front Desk Area... You couldn't say you were disappointed in the slightest. You were awed at the sheer detail and sleek shininess of the entire place.

And still, you couldn't ignore the nervous fizz that bubbled in your stomach at the thought of getting lost, never meeting up with Shelby, and never actually being allowed to test out your job. But you did your best to ignore them and pushed forth, walking to the darker-themed desk in hopes that someone who worked in the department would walk by.

You held onto the courage you had left and looked around for anyone in formal attire. But the screams of children shouting about certain areas of the Plex you had yet to discover only made your job harder, constantly drawing your attention this way and that. Your eyes were easily drawn to the noisy lil' beasts as they called to one another, addressed their parents over the loud music, and shouted random names.

It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least. Well, a bit was an understatement, you could hardly concentrate and think to yourself over the ruckus of the Plex. And to think it was only 8 in the morning.

The screams of delight continued despite your best efforts to block them out, but it wasn't just the kids making such a racket. Loud music, parental voices, the clinking of coins, the buzzers of credit cards being denied, sound effects, camera flashes.

It was an overload of sights and sounds. Even the smells invaded your nose as people sold their various food items that were heavily sprinkled with desirable spices.

Now you wish you had brought something to cancel out the sounds.

The constant sounds of Fazerblasters, Fazcams, the Fazcade, and rumbunctious music easily got to you. It truly was ear-bursting.
