"Where are you headed?" Moon asked from behind you, you took a few steps forward before turning on your toes to face him.
You pointed with your thumb over your shoulder, double-checking to make sure you were pointing at the blue double doors. "I'm going to check and see if Shelby is still helping Freddy, or if I was forgotten about." You rolled your eyes at the thought.
"Shelby and Freddy? Thought it would have been something a little more interesting." Moon huffed as he stood up, it was obvious he held a grudge against the two. The reason? You did not know. The more you talked to the animatronics the more questions they gave you.
Could the animatronics hold grudges against other people? And if so, was that a bad thing? If anything, this should be a wake-up call to not piss any of them off. Impressions, that's all it was, just give yourself a good impression and you should be fine.
"I wish, but I don't want to sit restlessly on a crowded bench." You threw back at Moon jokingly with a sly glance, who looked like they were about to argue, but you thought quickly and interrupted him before he could speak his mind. "Do you have something against them though? You sounded irritated."
And luckily that was enough to draw Moon away from his previous statement, unfortunately, it caused him to fall into a rant-heavy mood.
"It has to do with their teasing, most of what they pick on me about is something I cannot change. An example is my facial features, which are entirely out of my control." Moon said spitefully, crossing his arms and looking away to give full effect on his feelings.
It honestly just made you feel more sympathetic toward the animatronic. Especially if they could feel emotions, it was quite sad if anything, especially since Moon seemed butt-hurt about it.
You turned away traversing the distance towards the double doors. "You know they're just teasing you right? It may be mean, but it tends to mean that they care about you. I can see why you're upset about it, but that's the general translation for it." You explained, back turned to Moon while using undefined hand movements as you spoke, which somehow managed to confuse yourself.
You reached out for the door handle but ended up grasping empty air as Moon pushed the door open before you got to it. "Others first," Moon said politely while doing a slightly formal bow toward you, using the same hand to gesture you forward.
You walked through, a smug expression creeping up on your face, but of course, your mind had to blurt what you were saying without thinking it through. "Thanks, Mr. Gentle Moon." You caught yourself before you continued with your next sentence. You hadn't meant for it to come out like you were full-on teasing him. You had been trying to make a slight joke with a general thank you.
You whipped around to face Moon, hands up in a defensive/innocent stance, "I didn't mean for it-" You were cut off as his strong arms wrapped you into a very tight hug. Unaware of his physical strength you felt your body compress under his undefined strength. You started to choke as your lungs struggled to take in air. The exact opposite was happening, the air was harshly being forced out of your lungs.
"That was a horrific pun, terrible must I say." Moon teased right back, forgetting his undefined strength. But as sudden as the hug was, so was the releasing pressure as Moon dropped you. Finally realizing he had been squeezing your organs together into a custom human meatball.
As you stumbled on your feet you began coughing in an attempt to get some air flowing through your body. "Apologies Y/n! I am truly sorry." Moon apologized repeatedly as he lightly rested a hand on your shoulder, just barely grazing it as he tried to provide some sort of comfort to you.
