"Hello, Leni?"

Oh, that soft voice. Despite being angry at her for weeks, Leni couldn't deny that she missed hearing Risa calling her name as if it was the most sacred thing on Earth.

Well, she missed everything about Risa, not just her voice.

"Risa?"

"Is there something wrong, Leni?"

Her. She was always Risa's top priority; even though she was busy, was out in her personal agendas, and sometimes in the middle of driving. And Leni didn't know what she do to deserve someone as caring as Risa.

Yet her pride almost cost her that.

"Ah," Leni croaked out. "Wala naman." I miss you. "Can we talk?"

"We are talking, President Robredo." Risa says, no bite in her tone, just pure affection and jest.

Leni chuckled. "I mean personally. Meet me at the spot?"

She could feel Risa smiling on the other side of the line. "Sure, I'll be there at 10."

Well, Risa wasn't the only one smiling, because Leni was sure that the smile she's supporting right now would break her face at any moment too.

"Yes!" Leni pumped her fist into the air, like a teenager who scored a first date with her crush. "Yes, yes, yes!"

"Wow, forda kilig ang ferson for today's video ah." A voice spoke before Leni, smirk evident in its tone.

Leni cleared her throat before composing herself, turning around to see Leila leaning on her doorway. A cup of tea in her left hand and a bunch of folders on her right.

"Kanina ka pa dyan, Ate Lei? For how long?"

"Long enough to see the 17th President of the Philippines acting like a lovestruck teen." Leila says, closing the door behind her.

The senator walked towards her, placing the cup on her table. "Bati na kayo?"

"Well," Leni scratched her nape. Unsure of what to say. "Hindi pa pero susuyuin ko sya."

"Ay wow, baliktad pero infairness gumagalaw na ang bakla. Good for you."

"Nandito ka lang ba para asarin ako o ano?"

Leila raised her hands. "Chel ka lang, ihahatid ko lang tong mga copy ng proposals and partnerships for Angat Buhay." The senator handed out the folders to Leni. "Pinapabigay ni Kit."

"He also said na may meeting daw for potential investors next month from Austria and South Korea so mag ready ka."

Leni hummed as she skimmed through the contents. "So, anong oras mo kikitain si Risa?" Leila asked.

"Marites ka talaga eh no?"

"Hindi naman, gagamitin ko lang naman to pang blackmail sayo just in case you forget to bring me something for merienda."

"Ay wow."

Leila laughs. "Syempre mahal mo naman ako no?"

"Hindi."

"Awts, pain, pighati."

"You really need to stop spending time sa Twitter. Kung ano-ano na sinasabi mo."

"It's called 'keeping up with the trends'. Manang ka kasi."

Leni rolled her eyes. "Sabi ng senior citizen."
