Months had passed since their argument and a lot of them had been busy lately with their respective jobs.

Leni was able to go through her one hundred days in office with ease. A lot of Filipinos were satisfied with the way she runs the government and the problems that the former administration had failed to solve were finally put to rest.

Risa and the rest of the senatorial slate were able to pass a lot of laws that could help and protect the lives of many. They also conducted meetings with different progressive groups such as those under the National Mass Democratic Organizations (NDMOs) and orgs that look after the well-beings of the workforce of the country to ensure that they were able to touch all areas that needed their attention.

Kiko focused his attention in enriching the lives of the agricultural sector, especially the farmers, by giving them back their lands and donating things they could use in harvesting.

The Robredo administration also kept their focus on resolving the armed conflicts happening within the state, as this is something that should be addressed a long time ago.

With this, the administration were able to finally get to the root of the problem; lands that were stolen by corrupt capitalists, lack of food and support in their community by the government, and of course, the injustice that the indigenous people undergo through in the hands of their fellow citizens.

Misinformations were also being swept away by the supporters of Leni and fact checkers within social media. The sprit of volunteerism suddenly increased. The opposition became stronger than ever. Activist and the media no longer fear of having their lives being threatened twenty-four seven.

All is good at the surface. Yet underneath all of it was the bubbling frustration of one Risa Hontiveros.

"Ang tagal na namin hindi nakapag-kita ni Leni." She complains to Pia and Pinky, both who dropped by her home this weekend. "Lagi nalang syang busy sa trabaho. Well, its not like I don't understand that, pareho lang naman kami ng mundong pinasok."

"Ate Ris, baka nakakalimutan mo, presidente ng Pilipinas si Ate Leni. Malamang busy talaga yan. Magtampo ka kung estudyante sya at mas pinili pa nyang mag-laro sa computer shop kesa dumiretso dito."

Pia hands over a bowl of fruits to her sister. "Also, malapit na yung due ng pag-sign nya ng about sa Free Mental Health Consultation and sa Same-Sex union. A lot of people, especially the media, are looking forward to it. Kaya baka nappressure sya ngayon." The senior news anchor added.

"Give it time, Ate Risa. I'm sure she'll come by." Pinky adds.

Risa sighs. Well, clearly I am worried about that.

The next day, Risa went out for work and was busy reading some laws that needs to be debated upon on the next hearing when her assistant barged in her office to deliver some news.

"Sen, pasensya na po alam ko pong busy kayo." Her assistant says, eyes shining with unshed tears out of fear that the senator would kick her out since she came inside her office unannounced. "Pero urgent po ito, a lot of people are mad sa sinabi nyo po regarding the issue last week. The President also wants to talk to you po."

"Sige, when nya ako need kausapin?"

"Ngayon na sana." Leni enters the room, her gaze falling on the senator. Risa felt that shiver down her spine. Leni is angry. "Salamat, Rose. Pero pwede mo muna kami iwan ni Senator Risa? We have some matters to discuss."

Rose, the assistant, quickly nods and immediately bolted out of the room as fast as she could. She knew what is about to go down and it wouldn't be nice to be caught in the middle of it.
