“I'm not telling you.”

Horror said sternly, his singular red eye light seeming to peirce Nightmare's non-existent soul. Nightmare shuddered gently, taking a slight step back. Horror can be scary when we wanted to be. Sometimes, he even manages to scare the King of Negativity himself. And this is one of those rare moments.

“Horror, don't make me repeat myself. I said: Where is she.?”

The dark king asked again, drawing the cannibal closer to him. Horror stayed silent. He's that of a loyal dog: He will stay by your side and protect you at all costs.

Protect.

Protect.

Protect.

Protect.

PROTECT.

“Protect..” He said under his breath. Yes, that's his job. To protect you. He squirmed once more in the pitch tendril holding him captive.

"You're making this more difficult than it has to be, Horror. All you have to do is tell us where she is located, and then I will let you go."

The dark king spoke once more in a sweet-and-sour tone.

"This is getting boring!"

Killer groaned, slumping over, like a child who was just denied a chocolate bar. The dark liquid continued to pour from his all black eyesockets. A deadly cry.

“Y0u'R3 R¡gh†. ¡f h3 d03$ n0† c00p3r@†3, ¡'ll f¡nd h3r my$3lf.”

Error spoke up. You can tell by his tone of voice that he too is bored by all of this arguing. Nightmare's permanent smirk grew until a more mischievous, evil smile corrupted his skull. Nightmare dropped Horror, who in response ran down the halls as quickly as possible. He needed to hide you, and he needed to hide you fast.

Safe..

Ah, that's it. He wanted you to be safe. He couldn't bear to see you injured again. Turning to where his room was located, he opened the door with force.

You jumped from your spot on the bed, eyes quickly darting to him.

Your POV:

It all happened so fast, I didn't have time to calculate. Horror, looking panicked and panting like a dog, bardged through the door in a hurry.

"Horror? Are you okay?"

You called out to him, concerned and a bit fearful. He stood still for a moment, his singular red eye light unmoving. That was until you became shrouded in a cloud of beautiful blue magic. The mist-like magic swirled around your being, like an ethereal glow. A shining star in the night. You levitated out of the massive bed you were once seated upon, the blankets being removed as a response. You sighed, already missing the warmth and comfort of the bed.

"Horror? Please, answer me. What's going on?"

The behemoth of a skeleton said nothing, his red eye light trailing towards you, until suddenly, you felt like your head was spinning. Your vision became all fuzzy and clouded. The world around you has faded to a black abyss, and not too long after, you gained your sense of sight back again. Your head pounded and throbbed painfully with a newly developed migraine, but you ignored it.

You looked around. The entire place is just white, with a brightness that could have even the sun itself jealous. You blink a bit, not yet used to the light world around you. Something else, however, caught your attention. Papers, held together by strings. They hung from the ceiling, teasing your curious brain. Your eyebrows furrowed, staring up at the various sheets.

'Poor trees...'

You thought, resisting the urge to laugh at your totally unfunny remark. You now notice that the blue magic faded away, leaving you in the hands of Horror. You don't feel disturbed or disgusted... In fact, it felt... Great.

A new voice, one you didn't recognize, spoke up. It sounded alarmed, yet threatening in a way. Your head moves to face the source. It's another skeleton... Though he has a massive paintbrush...

"Horror? Put that human down."
