     Hi guys!

I honestly wasn't expecting such a big reaction to this story.

I've never received fourteen votes on one chapter before... I know it sounds pathetic but it's true.

    So here's Chapter 2! :)

     ~ Jules

"Do I look okay? Please tell me I look okay." Cierra said, tugging nervously at the hem of her black and white polka dotted shirt. I rolled my eyes, looking her up and down for the twelfth time today. "You look fine! Stop worrying." I said, even though I was worrying on the inside. My hand had half-consciously ran nervously through my hair the whole three hours we had been waiting in line at the studio.

"But I can't! There's one girl in front of us and then I go then you." She rambled, frantically waving her hands towards the heavy girl in front of us. I took her by the shoulders and looked her straight into her brown eyes.

"Calm." I said, taking a breath. "Down." I finished, releasing my breath. She nodded her head slightly, slowly turning to face the door where the auditions were taking place. I saw Cierra gulp, but she took a breath similar to the one I had just taken and released. I smiled as she plastered a grin on her face and waited for the directors to call her in.

"Next!" An aggravated voice called, and I placed a reassuring hand on my best friend's arm before she shakily entered the room that I hadn't seen anyone exit.

After fifteen minutes of no one calling me in to audition I began to get worried. What if something went wrong? What if her performance was so bad that the directors are laughing about it in there? What if it was so good that they're immediately accepting her and canceling the auditions? A million thoughts swirled around in my head as I stood on the concrete sidewalk, waiting.

Okay, this is officially the longest audition out of all of them, I thought. As if on cue, the word 'next' was called but the voice speaking sounded much more elated and bubbly. A wave of relief rushed through me as I heard the friendly tone. So her audition went well.

I confidently stepped into the threshold of the small carpeted room that was shielded from the cold outside and was immediately hit with a wave of warm air. My eyes traveled to a portable heater that was placed in the corner of the mini building.

Almost automatically I was rushed from one room to the next by an Asian secretary who gave me her 'best luck' before slipping back into her desk.

A script was shoved in my hand and I was ushered in front of three chairs, each occupying a male holding a screenplay identical to mine.

"Name, age, and where you're from, please?" A somewhat round man who was beginning to bald said, leaning back in his chair and searching my face for something.

"My name is Julia Martin, I'm thirteen, and I'm from here." I said. "Uh, Boston, I mean." I added sheepishly as the man sitting in the middle chair rose a bushy eyebrow, uncharacteristic for someone so stringy and fragile looking.

The man sitting in the third chair began frantically scribbling down all of my information, occasionally shoving his dark rimmed glasses up the bridge of his nose only to have them slide back down again.

"Thank you. Now, we are going to do..." The man sitting in the first seat trailed off on his sentence, flipping about five pages in the script before his eyes lit up. "Scene Eight. Where Gabe's crush Abbey kisses him." The man said, happily placing the papers back in his lap.

"Oh... kay." I said, shakily flipping to that scene. This obviously isn't the one that Cierra did if he had to flip to a new page, I thought, reading over the lines I had three times before confidently shaking my head to signal I'm ready.

"I'll get it." The man in the middle said, speaking Gabe's part.

"A-Abbey! Come in." He stuttered nervously, doing an almost perfect impression of Bradley.

"Hi." I squeaked shyly. "I was wondering if I could talk to you for a minute..." I said, wringing my hands as best I could while holding the script.

"Speak away." He said, and I opened my mouth then shut it as the script directed.

"Well, this is probably crazy since we've only started hanging out since last month and -- never mind." I said, cutting off the sentence.

"Tell me, Abbey." The man persisted.

     "No."

     "Yes."

"Not going to work, Gabe." We banter.

     "Just tell me already!"

"Fine! I like you Gabe, okay? I like you. Are you hap~"

"And signal the kiss." The bald man said.

I stood for five seconds before starting again with a look of passion on my face. "Gabe?"

The man in the middle began to talk again. "Yeah?"

"Does this mean you like me too?" I whispered.

    The man nodded.

    "Scene." I said, smiling.

They all clapped, which is what I guess they're supposed to do for everyone so feelings don't get hurt.

"Excellent, excellent. Now would you be a dear and tell me roughly how many people are left out there?" The man who had written my information down earlier chirped. "Around... twenty, maybe?" I estimated. The men all simultaneously grinned at each other as I stood in front of them awkwardly. "I think we've found our Abbey." One of the men said.

Maybe Cierra's mom will take us out to lunch~

WAIT WHAT?! THEY'VE FOUND THEIR ABBEY? DOES THAT MEAN ME? HOLY CRAP... IT'S ME ISN'T IT. OH EHM GEE I'LL BE ABLE TO SEE BRADLEY AGAIN~

Whoa whoa whoa. I interrupted my train of thought. I'm not supposed to want to see Bradley again... I've held a grudge against him since I was five. My mind seems to disagree however and I now think I want to see Bradley. "I better knock some sense into myself before I do something I shouldn't..." I grumble to myself as I'm led out of a large metal door and met by Cierra in the parking lot.

I let out a cute little mewling sound as Cierra jabbed me in my side. "Now can you tell me how your audition went?" She said, and I sighed. We were down in her room and snacking on some goldfish, after she had begged me to sleep over after this exhausting day. "Alright. But I'm only answering that question." She nodded eagerly, awaiting my reply.

"It went well." I smirked. Her jaw dropped. "Conniving little bitch," She muttered, and I laughed. "That's what you get for not asking a specific question." I said, and she growled.

No, I couldn't tell her they were picking me for the role. It would break her heart to find out. I thought, uncomfortably laying down on my stomach and forcing myself not to think about this situation.

Hiya!
