[Cierra's POV] (New POV! Woop)
"We'll talk this over a real breakfast."
That was the only snippet of Bradley and Julia's conversation I heard before they were plastering fake smiles on their faces and waving at us. "Hey friend." I said to Julia, and she rolled her eyes. "Well hi." She replied, settling to stand next to me as Bradley took a place to stand next to her.
"We should probably get going... Bradley? Would you like me to drop you off at your place before we go shopping? Your parent's are probably wondering where you are." Dawn offered, but Bradley shook his head. "I've shot them a text, they know that I'm here... they were quite surprised to hear that I was spending time with Julia here." He said with a smile.
Dawn nodded confusedly, but my eyes widened. "What do you mean?" I asked. Julia gave Bradley a look and he cringed away slightly. "Uh... I met them on the set?" She said, her statement coming out more as a question. I rolled my eyes, letting her obvious lie slide as I began to make my way out of the hotel lobby to go outside.
The humid air engulfed me as soon as I stepped onto the pavement, and I lost my breath for a few seconds before my lungs got used to the dramatic change in air temperature.
"So, where are we off to first?" I asked casually, glancing at the three people I was traveling with. "Actually, Bradley and I haven't really eaten a proper breakfast since you bought us cardboard bagels." Julia said to me, wrinkling her nose.
"Cardboard bagels? They're just whole grain." I said in confusion. "Well of course they are..." Julia muttered.
"Well, I take it that you two have to eat... I can drop you off at a nearby café while Cierra and I go into some stores." Dawn suggested, and as soon as Bradley and Julia nodded eagerly I internally groaned. This trip was supposed to be fun between me and Julia, she definitely wasn't supposed to spend it with Bradley Steven Perry.
"Alright... Let's walk a bit down here." My stepmom said, and we followed her down the sidewalk. Julia ended up next to me, so I took the chance to actually strike up a conversation with her.
"Hey." I said, nudging her side with my elbow. She nodded her head in acknowledgement towards me before a smile played on her lips. "I never got to tell you that you were really good in that scene yesterday. The kiss looked full of emotion, and from what I can tell you and Bradley sort of resent each other." She chuckled, and I grinned.
"Thanks." I said, a blush peppering my cheeks. I was never really good at accepting compliments, even when it's coming from Julia, and she's been my best friend since the second grade.
"So... how are things with that Andrew guy going?" Julia asked, and I snorted. I had made an account on a dating sight called Find 'Em, which also happened to have a phone app. It was supposed to be for a laugh, but before I could explain that to Julia she had already started to make fun of me for it.
