I stand still in front of my Father's bloody corpse. Being 12 years old at the time i didn't know the danger i had just put myself in. The crime i had just committed was one of the worst but at the time i had very little knowledge. I never had any good advice growing up due to my Mother's emotional abuse.

She wasn't like other Mothers. She was quite different from the rest. Which is why all my friends stopped hanging out with me. I always wondered why they ditched me because i didn't know at the time.

But i also didn't know it was my Mother who was fucking it all up for me.

So here i was, watching as the blood drained from my Fathers body. I felt nothing, not a single thing. All i knew is that he was trying to hurt me and i had to do something about it. I didn't know it would lead to this but i wasn't entirely sure if i regretted this or not.

When i turned 9 i realized that i had powers. But being only 9 i still didn't understand them. Sometimes i'd just use them without thinking and most of the time i would make mistakes. My Mother was aware of these powers and she has been trying to get me 'help' for it for the past year. But little did i know that she had finally found the "right place" for me.

"Come on, sweetie. Let's go." My Mother looked terrified of me, but still held my small hand with such love and comfort. Which is why i fell into her trap.

"Where are we going?" My tiny child-like voice asked her. Looking up at her with your sparkling e/c eyes. You felt scared, but your instincts told you to trust your Mother. If you were being honest you didn't know your Father was dead you thought he was sleeping.

"We're going to a place that will help you. I promise everything will be okay. I'll be with you the whole time." Your Mother soothed you as she helped you get into the backseat of her car.

About 40 minutes have passed, you stared out the window as the moon reflected onto your face. Your thoughts raced endlessly as you pondered on what type of 'help' your mother was talking about.

I step out of the car as i have now made it to my destination. In front of me stood a huge building and it looked like an office building at first. But it also kind of looked like a hospital? My little brain then again didn't understand but i felt safe just as long as i was with my Mother. She was here to keep me safe, right?

"Ah! Hello there, Ms. L/N!" Greeted a tall man who wore a tuxedo. He greeted us as soon as we stepped foot into the building.

"Greetings, Sir." My Mother greeted him back with a smile forming onto her lips. I hid behind her as i was always very shy.

"Where is your daughter?" He then asked with a tilt of his head.

"Right here, Sir." She said while stepping out of the way to reveal me.

"Hello there, little miss." He approached me and crouched down in front of me. The man gave me a warm smile and took out his hand for me to shake it. I didn't want to be rude so i did.
