chapter 3.

I arrived early at Chris' place just to make them breakfast. When I arrived there was silence in this man's home. I walked in the kitchen and tried to make breakfast as quiet and as quick as possible but I failed in doing so. I did a lot of banging and frying, the smell and noises with wake  them up and when I mean them I mean Chris. He showed up with nothing but basketball shorts.

"Good morning Chris." I said cheerfully.

"Good morning Ree."

"I'm sorry if I woke you up with all the banging." I said.

"Oh nah the banging didnt wake me up the smell did." He chuckled.

"I bet it did. So where's Kae?" I asked cracking some some eggs into the pan.

"She still asleep. She's worn out."

"Oh so you gave her the D?"

He laughed a bit before he answered "Uhm yeah." I wiggled my eyebrows.
"Okay stop."

"Okay I'm done. Go get ready for breakfast."

"Nah I'd rather watch you cook." That caught me off guard.

After he said that Kae came walking up to Chris. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him multiple times.

"Good morning baby." She said.

"Good morning. Dont see you see Ree?"

"Ree? Who the hell is Ree?" She turned around when she saw me she rolled her eyes and I didnt get why. "Oh her. Good  morning." She said sarcastically.

I didn't bother to answer her so I let it be.

"Uhm your breakfast will be ready in a few." That was awkward.

"Oh right you the maid. This job really suits you not capable for anything else but being a maid. Anyway baby let's go get ready." She said and walked out the kitchen hand in hand.

Tears ran down my face but I quickly wiped them off "This gon be a long day." I said to myself.

Chris

"Okay wassup with that? Why did you have to do that?" I asked her.

Like what the fuck is wrong with her. The poor girl did nothing wrong.

"Oh 'Nah I'd rather watch you cook.'" She said mocking me.

I rolled my eyes "That's no big deal." I said while I was taking a seat at the dining table.

She say down after me "Oh its no big deal, huh?" It may not be a big deal to you but to me it is. You got a girlfriend you shouldn't be saying to those things to her or anyone for that matter." Baby girl ain't gotta be jealous.

"You're right but that wrong of you to be all mean to her when she clearly did or said nothing but I was the one who is in the wrong. You should  ne mad at me not her."

"I should apologize. I was really in the wrong. My jealousy got the best of me." Huh yeah right.

"You ain't gotta be jealous it's you and it'll always be you. As I promised I'll never do you like before."

I get that she doesn't trust me because  of the things I did to her in the past but I'm a changed man. I changed for her why cant she see that? But I cant blame her I'm the one that implanted that fear in her.

"I love you." I said just to ease her heart and mind but at the same time meaning it.

"I love you too baby."
