Well me and Chris have been sour ever since the fight. He begged me to come back and I did.

Flashback

I tried to relax but what just happened no and a few hours ago. What is this boy doing to me, matter fact what did I just do? Did I just quit my job? Well back to square one then, I might as well be a stripper for crying out loud. I gotta hustle to make a future for my baby, ion want my momma to do my work, she did what she had to do for me but I disappointed her so I dont wanna fail my daughter nor do I want her to repeat the mistake I made.

As I was deep in my thoughts Brianna ran up to me.

"Mommy are you okay?" She asked caressing my cheek.

"Yeah baby why?"

"Cause daddy left very angry and he didnt say goodbye."

"Dont worry about daddy he'll come back soon."

I hope he does for Brianna's sake.

"Okay mommy. Please dont leave me without saying goodbye." She said in a down tone.

Ooh baby God does a lot of things and he might take me away from you before I even get the chance to say goodbye. Oh Lord Jesus dont let that happen.

"I wont baby I wont."

I held her onto me and ran my finger through her curly hair. We stayed in that position for a few minutes. I heard light snors. Aww my baby's asleep. I layed her gently not trying to wake her up. I left the room and went to the kitchen to get a bottle of water and I saw my momma reading a book with a cup of tea beside her.

"Hey momma." She didnt say anything, she closed her book and folded her arms across her chest. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"I should be asking you that. What's wrong with you and Chris? Is he really your boss or boyfriend?"

"He my boss ma but after this I felt a spark between us ma call me crazy or something but ma I'm liking this man but I cant be with him ma. And to make it worse I quit the job..."

She cut me off. "What? Why?" She asked kinda shocked.

"Cause he be telling me that he my boss whenever and wherever cause he my provider and all that bullshit. Shit I ain't gon let no man run me around like Chase did."

"But he is not Chase Renèe."

"You dont even know him so dont start defending him."

"Okay fine, but why? Why did you kiss him back?" She asked.

"Ion know ma, ion know. I wish it didnt happen but at the same time I'm happy it did. Now I have to tell Brianna that Chris isnt her father."

"No dont do that Renèe. Brianna has never been so happy in her life. She finally has a father, she gon stop asking you about Chase. She'll finally have a father, daughter dance she always wanted. Put your differences aside and think about Brianna's happiness." She said.

Damn she is right. Chris already loves her and she loves Chris and I can't take that away from either one of them, but that will mean that I'll have to deal with him for 12 years now. Why did Chris say he's her father?

"I guess you right." I said defeated.

"Hell yeah I'm right now call him and fix your shit."

"Yeah I'm not gonna call him." I refused.

"You so stubborn."

"Wonder where I got it from." I said and left the kitchen going to my room.

I watched Brianna for a while before watching Netflix. I watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S and I love it I know every episode on every season but I'm in love with the show. I was watching so peacefully and then Chris walked in my room. I rolled my eyes and continued watching the show. He took off his shoes and layed next to me. I scooted closer to Brianna and he scooted closer to me. What does this man want?
