chapter 12.

Renèe

It's a new dawn, it's a new day. So I decided on waking up early and make breakfast for Karruche and Chris. I choose to not think about what happened between Chris and I last night but what happened yesterday has been replaying in my head, I try to not think about it but it's hard not to.

I put the food on top of the table and then I heard sandals hitting the floor following with faint laughter. I went to the kitchen to gather a few of the things I have left.

"Ooh good morning Renèe." Karruche greeted.

"Good morning Kae, Chris." I said looking him right in his eyes.

"Renèe." He said back.

Wow so much tension between the both of us and I hate it. I cant believe that we'll continue acting like this until things get better on my end, but I guess ill have to get over it plus the man is hardly around so this will be easy.

"So Renèe, any plans for the day? I'm thinking of having a girls day out, like go to the spa, beauty salon, the mall, you know, just the two of us." She said smiling from ear to ear.

"Uhm I'd love to but I'm sorry I wont be able to tag along. I have back-to-back classes and after everything that has happened yesterday with the whole sex tape ion feel comfortable being out in the open."

"Ooh thats, that's okay I just thought this would take your mind out of what happened and has happened."

"Yeah Chris tried but that didnt turn out good."

"Ooh he did?" She looked at him a bit in disbelief.

Ooh she dont like this, she dont like this at all.

"Okay let me leave yall and go attend my class. Please clean up when yall are done, thanks." I left before things turned south.

Chris

Okay see, ion know why Kae is acting up especially after I told her what happened last night.

"Chris what's wrong with you?"

"Really? You seriously asking me this question?" I asked annoyed.

"Yes I am."

"Okay ion got time for. Can I just eat my breakfast then I'll get back to you, please, I'm fucken hungry." I said.

"Ooh now you want to have breakfast? What you love her cooking?"

"Wh-wh-what? Karruche what the fuck is wrong with you?"

"No dont ask me that I should be asking you that. What the fuck is your problem Christopher? Ever since that girl has been our maid you have cared for her in many ways. First you piss her off and then you go beg for her to come back and then you go to her home and meet her daughter and I bet yall played happy family. She leaves and it's like your world was completely on hold, like you were here but you weren't. Then she comes back and it's like nothing ever happened. Shit goes downhill and you let her stay here, you protecting her and that is really pissing me off." She rambled.

"She's my fucken maid, what the fuck you want me to do?!" I was really being annoyed by her jealousy.

Yes I've cheated in the past and I promised her that I wont do that again. What she dont know wont kill her right? She ain't gotta know bout Renèe and I.

"Fire her." And she's being dead serious.

"What?"

"You heard me. Fire her. I'm tired of pretending as if I care about her cs I dont. I'm not her fucken friend or mother or sister that she'll come running to whenever she got a problem or whenever things happen to her I gotta be there for, no I'm tried of doing that shit. Look baby we can find a better maid that ain't got sex tape scandals and a crazy ex that is constantly threatening her life cause your life will also be threatened. Come on now think about how this is ruining our image, your image. Baby I think we should let her go." She finally finished talking shit.

"Okay Kae I think you kinda forgetting the Renèe's working for me not you. And you gave her the impression that you cared so dont come up here acting like she willingly approached you. And you one sick bitch. If you got a problem with Renèe working for me then baby girl there's the door you're free to leave and never come back here cause I want her to work here even though she is going through stuff and I would mind putting my life at risk as long as I got her and she got me cause I'm the only person she has here. If you cant handle that, again there's the door." I said and went upstairs. I went to Renèe's room and saw she was packing.

"Christopher I'm not done talking to you" Kae said coming behind me.

"Yeah I can see I'm the root of your problems so I'll just leave yall to it."

"Ooh thank you." Kae said.

"No. No. No. Renèe you are not leaving. This is your new home."

"Her new home? Chris are you going crazy?" Kae is really getting on my last nerve.

"I cant Chris. I'll go to my family for a few weeks, be with my daughter. Thank you Chris but this ain't working." She said closing her suitcase.

"No!"

"What?" They said simultaneously.

"Renèe you're fired..." Kae cut in.

"Yes! Bye bitch." She said with full excitement.

"Renèe I dont want you to be a maid and I know you dont want to be a maid. I'll take care of your family, I'll take care of you please don't leave."

"Chris you cant..."

"Ooh but I can. I want to spend my money on your family, on your precious daughter and you. Renèe ion know how many times I gotta say this but I'm saying it again, I love you. I'm in love with you. I know you thought about Karruche and I did too but after  the shit she said about you I realized that she's not the one for me, you are." I walked closer to her and pulled her closer to me. "Renèe Yung, may you please be my girlfriend?" I confidently said hoping she'll say yes and I wouldn't look like a fool.

She nodded her head and a smile appeared on her face. Ooh thank God she said yes. I smiled and kissed those pretty little lips of hers.

"Really Chris? You leaving me for this thot?"

"Hey you better respect my girlfriend now. Ooh and before I forget, pack your stuff and get the fuck out of my property."

She stormed out of the bedroom and disappeared off somewhere, I'm guessing the main bedroom.

"I love you Christopher Maurice Brown." She confessed.

I chuckled. "I love you Renèe Yung."
