"Okay, so your sister's dead, and?" Theodore questions, rubbing his forehead, while Layla and Wyatt look at me with wide eyes, an abundant amount of sadness in both of their eyes. While we all have a moment of silence, I take this chance to look around, it looked like we were in a small wooden shed.

"Oh my God bro, have a bit of respect." Wyatt groans, hitting Theodore's shoulder. "Yeah well I'm just trying to connect the fucking dots since she's barely saying anything." Theodore replies, directing his eyes toward me and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sweet baby Jesus- Theodore, like we said a few minutes ago, the same number combination that was on that creepy dudes suit, was the same one tattooed onto Stella's sister." Jade mumbles narrowing her eyes annoyed at Theodore, "And the same number one was found on my Mom's cousin." She continues, everyone's eyes darting between her and I.

"Holy shit-" Layla mumbles, slowing realizing everything that was just said. I look at Jade, she was biting her lip in anxiousness. "Okay yeah so that is a very fucking strange connection with everything, but it can't mean anything right?" I say, trying to lighten up the mood.

"I mean there were rumors of rabid animals on the loose and shit coming from the mountains." Theodore adds. "Yeah yeah, I'm sure it was just that." I try saying convincingly, more so trying to convince myself.

"And these animals tattooed 2 human beings just before there life-less bodies were found?" Wyatt asks in a thoughtless tone, chuckling slightly at that very absurd idea. "Yeah, like this shit isn't just some cutesy coincid-" Layla gets interrupted by the sound of my very shaky voice, "Can we please just stop talking about this shit, and go back to your place?" I ask, trying not to break down again.

I really needed to get out of this shed and away from this conversation, just thinking about Carmen hurt so fucking bad, and I'd never spoken to anyone about her yet, not even the fucking school counsellor. Maybe I'll never speak about her out loud, maybe I'll never be able to see pictures of her face without crying like a little baby. Maybe I'll eventually come to turns with the fact that my sister, who loved and cared for me endlessly, more than my own fucking Mother and possibly the most important person in my life is now gone, and is never coming back, ever.

"You ready?" Theodore asks, while standing in front of the main house's door, putting his hand out to carry my bag. "Yeah I should have everything." I answer, handing my schoolbag to him. He opens one of the doors, and I step outside, heading toward his familiar Range Rover that was parked in front of the second garage.

Theodore opens my door before I get the chance to, putting my schoolbag on the passengers seat. I slip inside and sit comfortably while he walks to the opposite side of the car, he opens the door, slides into the driver's seat and closes the door once again.

After we left the mysterious shed, which was just a popular make-out spot on the mountain, according to Wyatt, we went straight to Layla and Theodore's and ended up spending majority of the afternoon just talking.

I'd found out that Jade and Wyatt don't in fact live together, even though they have the same father, well technically it's Wyatt's step-dad, but you get the idea. I also now know that Layla comes from Canada, but moved here like only 3 weeks ago, and started at Oak Hill High 2 weeks ago.

After about 3 hours of talking, I got tired and missed Aunt Gigi, so I'd decided I wanted to go home, even though both Wyatt and Jade were staying over til tomorrow morning. I didn't mean in all honesty, I needed a good cry and a really fucking good nights rest.
