"Hey Stella!" Jade shouts, running over to me when she notices me walking into the school building. She gives me a big hug, almost tackling me to the ground, when Wyatt and Layla do the same after her.

"Hey guys." I say trying to catch my breath. I swear whenever Layla hugs me she's secretly trying to kill me because she literally squeezes me to the point where my face is as red as a tomato.

Theodore eventually strolls over to us and doesn't say anything, we haven't spoken since the little argument on Saturday, so seeing him at school was very weird to say the least.

"Stella are you going to the game tonight?" Wyatt asks. "What game?" I respond, looking at him in confusion. I didn't really go to any of the game's my school has hosted, although everyone always talks about how fun they are, I never really had a reason to go.

"The basketball game tonight, both Theo and I are playing!" Wyatt gleams at me happily. "Shut the fuck up Wyatt, I'm playing, you're just the bench-warmer." Theodore adds, making us all laugh. "Someone's gotta keep the benches all roasty and toasty." He responds, rolling his eyes.

The bell rings, and we're all reminded that we have classes to get to unfortunately, my first class being Maths, which was with none other than Theodore. Everyone says their goodbyes, and walks in different directions, leaving Theodore and I standing in awkward silence as people around us rush to get to their classes.

"So I'm gonna go to Maths now." I state, breaking the silence, turning my back to him and heading into the packed hallway.

I arrive at my Maths class, and sit down in my regular seat, taking my books. Just as I pull out my phone to check if I had any messages, I feel something small hit the back of my head.

I turn around eyeing the dick that just throw a crumpled up piece of paper at me. "Max what the fuck is your problem?" I ask loudly, catching a few people's attention, one of them being Theodore that had just walked into the room.

"Someone's feisty this morning." He replies, with a disgusting smirk on his face. "You know you should really smile more Estrella." He adds on, aggravating me to an astronomical level.

"You know Max I really don't give a single flying fuck about what you think, so leave me alone!" I yell louder, everyone's eyes now on me.

Max takes me piece of my brown hair, and pulls it in between his fingers. I slap his hand, and push his body back into his seat. "You bitch!" He yells back, standing out of his seat. I mirror his movements and also stand up, my phone dropping from my lap onto the hard floor.

He lifts his hand, aiming for my cheek. When my brain surprisingly processes what he's about to do, I grab the craft knife out of my pocket, which I mainly use for self-protection, and bring it to the same level as his hand, as with one swift movement, cut his hand.

He screams out, and he looks at his hand, seeing the small cut I made with only a little blood coming out, that was honestly nothing, he's just being dramatic.

"Help my hand!" He exclaims, causing my Maths teacher to run into class, leaving the conversation he was having with Coach Simonds. He rushes over to us, comforting Max as he slowly starts crying.

"Estrella, principal's office, now!" He demands, making me scoff. I'm 101% sure that the cut isn't that bad, and even if it is, it was an act of self-defense!

I angrily shove my things into my bag and storm out the classroom, hastily walking to the principal's office. I walk into the reception office, looking around a spotting a blonde boy sitting on one of the blue sofa's.

I ignore him and walk to the counter, seeing Ms Bright, our school receptionist typing away at something, looking through her very thin glasses that were on the tip of her nose. "Morning Ms Bright, I need to see Mr Goldman please." I say, smiling at her.
