"Vampires, real vampires didn't nibble on the necks of nubile young virgins. They tore people to pieces and sucked the blood out of the chunks." -David Wellington, 99 coffins </3

- Flower of the day !

Black Rose Flower

"Mysterious and striking, the most common symbolism tied to black roses is that of death, mourning or tragedy. Whether they are stand-alone black rose bouquets or mixed white and black blossoms, both are moving displays for funerals or memorial services to express grieving or a final farewell to a loved one."

TW : small gore ?

Second person :

You wake up to the sound of mumbling, or yelling or some weird loud-ish sounds. It was currently 3 or something.

"ughh" someone groans, you can hear it echo in the halls. You sat straight up. Your eyes widen as more noises came from the halls. You pulled down your shorts, so it wasn't showing anything above the thigh. You slipped on your slippers and headed out of your room, the door creaking as you opened it. You slowly, walked through the halls, stopping whenever you heard another noise. making the floor let out a small creak every time you stopped.

You came to a halt, stopping in front of the room, where the person was making weird noises. Your breath hitches. You lean up against the door, pressing your ear as you wonder what was happening. It was so late, why was anyone up?
"Please.." someone groaned from the other side of the door.

The room went silent as you heard creaking coming from behind you. your eyes widen as you feel droplets of water threatening to spill out of your eyes. You regretted ever going out of your room to explore this dark, musky hallway. You slowly turned your head, hoping no one was there.

yet... no one was? Was it your imagination? It couldn't be, right? You heard whispering coming from behind the door. Footsteps could be heard as the person walked closer. You felt hands grab you harshly, leaving red marks on your arms. Your heart dropped, as sweat dripped from your forehead, your eyes watering. Terrified was all you could fell. The emptiness wasn't a friend anymore, it was more like a enemy. The hands pushed you backwards, falling endlessly, is what it seemed like. Everything went pitched black. You heard nothing. The sound of nothingness ringed your ears, your ears hurting in pain.

You awoke gasping for air, as more sweat came dripping from your forehead as well as your hands. You sat up straight, bringing your knees up to your chest. You placed your sweaty hands on your face. Making your hands even more wet. Rocking back and forth. "Are you.. okay?" You shot up, shaking. Your hands fell to your sides as you looked around the room, quickly. To your left, no one.

To your right.. Kate? "K-Kate!" You shout as you lunged towards her, pulling her into a tight hug. She flinched backwards, hugging you back once she found safeness in your touch. The sun was rising, bringing in a beautiful orange, light into the room. It would be gorgeous and happy if it weren't for the dream you just had. You smiled brightly as Kate pulled back.

But wait.- your smiled faded. Your eyes teared up with sadness, confusion and honesty, regret. You.. weren't in your room? you looked around as you saw black walls. They were so dark, you could barely see if it weren't for the orange, pink and yellow sunrise. There were posters lying on the walls, they were horribly taped, some posters almost falling off of the walls. There was a drum set in one of the corners of the room. The red and black drum set shined in the orange sunshine. Your eyes widened as you turned up to look at Kate. or who you thought was Kate.

There stood a smirking, curly haired boy. His skin was pale white, spotted with freckles all over his face. The light brown freckles that sparkles in the sunlight. You crawled backwards, hitting the wall. "I'm- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Miles added, before backing away. He smiled, a warm and caring smile. "It's fine.." you said as you warmed up to him, you smile back, reassuring that it's completely okay now.

"Breakfast!" Mrs. Grose called from downstairs. Miles turned around and left the room, you got up and followed him. As you both walked downstairs, miles stopped. Making you bump into his back. He turned around, with a grin on his face and whispered. "By the way- that's my sweatshirt." He went over to the table and sat down. You stood there frozen.

"Y/n?" Kate called from the table, you got brought back to reality. "Sorry!" You said, running down the rest of the stairs and sitting next to Miles. The chair was a nice tint of light brown, some paint peeling off the sides. The morning light shined through the curtains made of beautiful green fabric. It was a , sunny day outside and the sun just made everything shine. The whole kitchen sparkled as Mrs. Grose brought in cereal for everyone. There was a bowl of fruit in the middle, fresh cut up fruit.

Mrs. Grose walked over to you, placing the bowl down on the table. You smiled. "Y/n, y/n!!" Flora yelled, making her way into the dining room, skipping cheerfully. She skipped over to you, tugging on your sleeves. "Can I show you the koi fish pond today?!" She shouted, excitedly. A wide smile shown on her face. "Of course, how about we go after breakfast?" You reassured her. She squealed, running over to her seat, which was across from you. "Can miles come too?" Flora asked, politely. Miles looked up from the counter and grinned. "Sure." You said blankly. You assumed today was Flora's off day because then why would you be able to go with her?

You go up the stairs, reaching your bedroom. You turn the cold handle and walk inside. Shutting the door behind you. You sat down near your luggage and opened it, revealing clothes and two pairs of shoes. You grab a skirt and a tight white turtleneck top.

First person :

I walk over to the curtains, that we're blocking most of the sunlight. I pushed them to the side as a bright light hit my face. I walk back over to my bed, taking off the sweatshirt and the shorts, then putting on a bra. the white turtleneck and of course the skirt. You grabbed a pair of shoes and slipped them on. You walked into the bathroom, admiring yourself in the mirror. "Is this okay?" I thought.

I was rubbing my hands down the sides of my body, trying to smooth out the white top. I heard as my bedroom door creaked open. My heart dropped. I turned around quickly just to see an excited little girl, almost jumping out of happiness. "Woah.." she stopped. "You look so pretty!" Flora added, shouting out made someone else walk into the room. Miles. "Thank you, Flora." I smiled and walked to her, placing my hand on her shoulder as Miles watched me closely. I look up and made eye contact with him. His dark eyes, almost looked endangering. He quickly looked me up and down. I felt myself blush a little. "Alright, let's go" I said, breaking the silence.

We all walked out of the house, I followed Flora since I had no clue were I was going. Miles was following behind me. I felt eyes on my body. I started feeling nervous. My stomach turning, in a bitter way. I just pushed it deep down and continued smiling. We neared the koi fish pond, as Flora happily skipped the rest of the way, Miles and me both following behind still. "Look, look!!" Flora said, shouting. Her face turned into a frown. A frown that spread to me and Miles face. The frowns created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The air around me started feeling tight, like it was closing in. Flora stopped walking. Her head looking down at the ground. I walk around her to see a dead koi fish. Well, almost dead. The fish had an opening in its side, I assumed a bird got it. "Aw.." I say, sounding disappointed. Miles frowned turned into a neutral face, his face showing no emotion at all, as he steps on the koi fish's face. It's head smashing into the ground, making a squishing noise as blood came pouring out from underneath his shoe.

He stomped harder, making the rest of the fish's head explode, smearing fish guts and blood everyone on the floor. Flora screams in horror as she watched her brother kill a koi fish. "Nothing should ever suffer." He mumbled, his voice becoming serious and stern. Flora watched her brother smirk, tears falling out of her wide eyes. "Miles! Your scaring your sister." I half-yelled. Anger grew inside me as I saw Flora fall to her knees, placing her hands in front of the fish. Flora worshiped it like an ancient god. Every tear that fell from her eyes, my heart ached, a little more every time. "Apologize." I say, looking up and making eye contact with Miles. He just stood there, his eyes filled with no remorse. His eyes looked like they could care less, as well as his face.

A grin was tugging at the corner of his lips. How could he think this was funny? He killed something, for gosh sakes! "Why should I? It was suffering anyways." He looked away from me, walking away as Flora stayed crying on the ground. Flora brought her hands up to her eyes as she cried out even more. "How about we ask Kate to get a new one?" I ask, trying to get her to calm down from her breakdown. Every cry, I felt pain. She nodded, wiping her tears away and standing up. She grabbed my hand tight, as we walked back to the house.
