Hey guys! Sorry that it took so long to post a new chapter. It's spring break so I spent the weekend at my cousin's house, but here you go!

Chapter 5

Marissa's POV

Where was Mackenzie? It's first period and the bell has already rung. She had to get here before the teacher or else she would get detention and we didn't need that. We had too much to set up for the party, so I needed all of her attention on the planning. We would hire a professional party planner, but we both decided the only person (or people) that can make it what we both want is us.

Mackenzie finally showed up and sat in the back of the classroom next to me. Thankfully, she made it just before the teacher walked through the door. She gave me a look telling me that she had some great news, but I knew it would have to wait until class was over. This teacher was so strict and would never let us talk. What a great way to start the day, huh?

I thought about the great news. What could it be? Did she finally plan her revenge on Lindsey? Did she find out what her parents got her? Thousands of questions were going through my mind, but stopped when Mrs. Herring called my name.

"Yes?"

"Could you please answer the question?"

"Umm..."

"Well?" She looked away fro a moment which gave Mackenzie a chance to nudge me. She looked down at the paper on her desk. I looked over and said whatever was written.

"Shakespeare's first play was Henry VI Part I."

"Correct." She looked at me with a face with a hint of surprise. She musn't have expected that I'd heard the question and I felt a littl pride inside.

As I walked out of the classroom when the bell rang, I heard my name being called. It was Mackzenzie telling me to slow down and to wait for her. Oh yeah, I had forgotten about the news she wanted to tell me. I guess I was paying more attention in class since I was called and almost had no answer.

We walked together to our side-by-side lockers and she finally explained everything that happened in the bathroom. She had to say it in a hushed voice because we both knew that Lindsey wasn't too far away from us. I was so excited that I wanted but knew that I couldn't.

And then I got a great idea. "Hey, how about after school we follow Lindsey and listen in to the conversation when she calls Justin. I want to see her shocked expression."

"Let's do it!" replied Mackenzie and then the day zoomed past as I was anxiously waiting for the visit to our enemy's house.

Sorry, it's short but I wanted to do a chapter from Marissa's point of view! Thank you for reading and voting. Please continue to do so! Next chapter will be up soon <3
