"Let's finish this procession then, shall we?"
"So just before we begin, what's your name? You know, combat etiquette," Sayuri asked.
"Ah, my apologies. I'm Hidan, high priest of Jashin."
And with that, Hidan appeared in front of them, scythe drawn back. So fast.
A deafening boom knocked a wood pillar to the ground.
The only thing that kept her hearing intact was the chakra coursing through her body.
He swung. Asuma dragged Choji out of the way, both trench knives firmly grasped.
The blades slammed into the ground and left cracks in the stone.
Asuma stabbed him. Right in the back.
He didn't seem too bothered though, because he laughed it off.
He threw Asuma off his back with a huff. The knives popped out and clattered on the floor.
"What in the world?" Sasuke muttered.
"It's Jashin's power. I sacrifice people, He protects me and grants me some of His strength."
He lifted a flap of his jacket, revealing several sickle-like kunai.
He flung one at Asuma, who blocked it. He reeled it back through a rope.
Naruto dashed behind him. Blade pulled back, he brought down the sword to Hidan's neck.
It nestled into his spine. Hidan gurgled up blood.
"Ugh, shit that hurts. Alright, fuck off," he grunted and tossed Naruto aside.
Naruto tumbled across the ground. Hidan raised his scythe, behind Naruto. The wound on his neck closed.
Not again! She dashed across the battlefield and drew her sword. Wind circled her body, rushed through her hair. The world slowed down.
Both blades blurred. Razor-sharp wind flowed through the sword.
Hidan groaned, his left arm severed at the elbow. His scythe clanged on the floor. "Alright you bitch, listen here: I liked that hand." A short metal spear slipped out from his sleeve.
Sayuri slipped under a swipe from the spear. "Too bad then." She ducked under a thrust. She mis-stepped. My muscles, she thought with a wince.
Coating her body with wind chakra like that wasn't exactly a good idea.
Sasuke fired an arrow between them.
Hidan caught it between his teeth, unperturbed. "That's cute," he snarled.
He kicked Sayuri in the ribs, sending her flying away from him. He dashed towards her, spear in hand.
Kakashi appeared between them. The two clashed. Kakashi kicked Hidan.
Hidan backed off and grabbed his arm. He grunted and placed his severed limb on the stump.
With a hiss of steam, Hidan clenched his fist with a grin.
A blast of smoke wafted out from a burning building. He has to reattach his body parts, but he can heal fast. So...
Shikamaru stepped forward, gaze determined. "Shikamaru, do you have any exploding tags, by any chance?"
He pulled out two tags. "Yeah."
"Good. We need to get those tags on him as fast as possible." Shikamaru nodded.
"Blow him to smithereens? Got it."
Kakashi had charged up a lightning blade and Asuma had a fully extended chakra blade. Ino held out the hand seal for her clan's Mind Transfer jutsu. Neither me nor Shikamaru are fast enough to intervene. Ino just fired her Mind Transfer, and it probably won't hit. We have to wait.
