It was just like any other day,

when suddenly a notification popped out.

"Gago" Kaagad kong mura.

I can't believe how many times I've seen this dude ask me out.

Every day is the same, gising ng maaga, mag ayos, coffee shop, school, uwian, coffee shop at bahay. Same routine. Nothing new! Nothing special at all.

Except whenever this guy asks me out.

I swear he needs to stop, or else baka seryosohin ko.

"Hi Nina!" Nagulat ako sa nag hi saakin. I gave Felise a smile. Her red hair is as cute as ever.

"Goodmorning Felise." Bati ko.

She asked me if I wanted something in the coffee shop but I told her what I always say "I'm good, thank you though."

I watched her walk by the counter looking at the menu, napatingin ako sa entrance ng cafe and my eyes widened.

"Holy fuck," I cursed. "Why is this guy here?" Tanong ko sa sarili ko. I can feel my heart beating so fast.

He's that one dude from boys volleyball varsity. I never saw him here, he's always by the milk tea shop two blocks from here, why is here now? He's got morning class!

Nakita ko syang ngumiti sa kausap nya, I think it's that another guy from the varsity, a freshman. Seriously though, why are they here?

I wore my mask at pasimpleng umiwas ng tingin.

Umupo si Felise sa harap ko. "Hey, remember that one guy from my other class?" She asked.

"Uhh, who?" Nailang kong tanong.

"Giovanni, the one I told you about." She said, "He asked for your number."

My eyes quickly went to the guy na nasa likod nya, it's that dude I saw earlier. Agad kong binalika ang tingin ko kay Felise.

"Oh yeah, Giovanni. Phys ed right?" I said, "Elise, I don't even know him." She shrugged at my remark.

"Girl, which is why he wants your number." Retorted nya, "Should I give it?"

Agad akong umiling. "Ask me again next month." Natatawa kong sagot.

"I knew you'd say that! Which is why I already did give him your number." Tawa sya.

Nanlaki ang mata ko. "Ugh, he's gonna find a new one soon anyway." I muttered.

I glanced at him again and saw him outside with his friend. Felise noticed me and asked what's up and what am I looking at.

"These two freshmans are hanging out outside, it's just new to me since they don't usually have free periods in the morning." Kunware hindi ko alam ang pangalan nila.

"Oh!" She recognized them. "That's Milo, I don't know the tall one though." She tapped my shoulders and smiled at me. "Milo is really nice, I only talked to him once because we're part of that ASB, he helped me once and he's nice." Dagdag pa nya.
