"Why won't he just give me space" I think aloud hearing him knock at my door for what seems like the millionth time, just today. This has been an ongoing cycle for past three weeks. I told him I needed space and time to finally have a conversation with him about who he really is.
Leaning against the door hearing him moving around finally sitting down, meaning our backs were rested at the same spot on opposites sides of the door. I started speaking knowing he was listening.
"Siah what happened to giving me the space I needed to figure this out?" I sighed emotionally drained, feeling conflicted and unable to think through my emotions with his constant pop-ups making me feel guilty.
"I miss you" I hear him say after a long pause seeming like he was holding back how he really felt.
"Can you come back to my place, please?" He questions tiredly sounding as if he hadn't slept in months.
"I wanna know about everything" I say finally giving in, feeling ready to have this long awaited conversation.

"I'm the son of Lucifer, I'm a cambion, half human half demon. My mother was human so I have free will, he can't control me like his other servants. He also has no control over Journi." Messiah says jumping right into it giving me no time to prepare, like dang we can't have a little ice breaker first.
"Then why are you on Earth?" I question confused
"Eventually Lucifer will have to step down and pass his title down to me, but for me to rule I have to have my queen by my side. When you first met me it was my 18th birthday I was coming to Earth to find my mate." He answers looking at me making me feel like I know where this conversation is heading.
"The moon goddess, Selene granted every supernatural being a mate." He says looking at me. "Our mates can either be another supernatural or human. And even though I'm a half breed I have a mate." He continues starting to look me in the eyes.
"I feel like you're about to tell me I'm your mate. If that's the case can I reject you like all the werewolf wattpad stories or....?" I drag off questioning his previous statement.
"I don't want you to love me just because you're supposed to." I continue after looking up seeing him mugging me after I asked to reject him"
"Liyah the mate bond doesn't work like that." He says plainly not clearing up any of my doubts. "The bond only brings us together to meet we have to fall in love and make the realationship work. Everything we had, and still have has always been genuine. I wasn't using you, you gave me a sense of peace and security. I'm not loosing you." He says finally making me smile, feeling reassured.
"Wait i'm gonna be the queen of hell?" I say finally processing all of the information.

'Negros' I think to myself walking into the living room seeing him playing on the games. You'd think after having a heart to heart he'd want to spend time with an amazing human being, such as myself.
'Actually lemme continue that book, the author published a few more chapters since I've last read' I think to myself opening wattpad remembering how good the three chapters I had read were of 'Opposites Attract'.
