"Hey, Tzuyu! Are you going home already?" Chaeyoung asked. I organized my things in my tote bag and checked my wrist watch.
"Yeah. My babies are waiting for me."
"You're such a KJ. I told you, you should sometimes join the assembly. The 97 squad are there! Plus! There are many goodlooking guys in our course! Good thing I chose Computer Science!" Chaeyoung shook my arms.
"Ssh. We are also beautiful! Don't be too obvious that you're drooling over handsome guys. " Nayeon said.
Nayeon clung her arms into me. "I don't know what's with you. You are popular among the guys even on our department. Are you stiff or are you just cold to guys? I heard you didn't reply to my blockmate."
"Ah that?" I checked my phone that has several texts from an unknown number, some are blockmates and schoolmates. "Sorry, I was quite busy with the past family event. And... I mostly reply to school stuffs." Nayeon sighed at that.
Nayeon is a 4th year Psychology Student while Chaeyoung and I are 2nd year Computer Engineering student. We became friends since I am a freshman.
The two kept bickering beside me but suddenly stopped. I looked at them.
"It is really worth it to hangout here in your building." Nayeon whispered and she and Chaeyoung proceeded with a flirty laugh.
I shifted my gaze to someone walking in front of us. I saw a familiar man in a white button down polo gracing the hallway. Our gazes met.
"Kook!" Mingyu called the man. They converse for a while then left afterwards.
My phone vibrated. It's a text from my younger brother, Jay.
From: Jay
We have a group meeting. Can't feed the dogs.
I immediately stood and bid my goodbyes to Nayeon and Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung is quite sad but I said I really needed to go and I'll make it up to her.
"Kaya! Butter! I'm here!"
I took of my shoes and arranged it on the shoe rack.
Kaya and Butter run into me while wagging their tails. I patted their heads and refilled their water and treats.
Kaya and Butter are mother and daughter. I adopted them. I felt bad if I will only take one of them so I decided to take them both.
The night proceeded as it was. I played with the dogs then did my assignment.
