Morning walks

"Good morning!"
Jungkook's smirking face welcomed me.

His hand is on his pocket while he's standing making him look taller.

"Morning." I smiled. There's this weird creature in my stomach again.

We sat on the grass and petted Bam, Kaya, and Butter.

"Dogs are really one of the genuine creatures in the world." I said out of nowhere.

"Yes. Like how they stare at you, and runs to you when you get home. They are pure." Jungkook looked at me and smiled.

"You're the most beautiful when you're looking at the dogs. Your eyes sparkles everytime.. I--" He said a sentence that I don't heard clearly.

"What?" I said real curious.

Butter suddenly ran so I followed him. I heard Jungkook's footsteps on my back.

"He must really love the slide."
Jungkook said.

He immediately caught up on Butter and carried him. When I see him, I already stopped running. I hold the leashes of my Bam and Kaya and tied it.

"You're fast. Are you an athlete back in middle school?"

"Nah. Maybe on my past life."

We were catching our breath while laughing at each other for panicking.

Midterms came fast. Jungkook and I has been texting frequently. Funny because I've always been a lazy texter.

"Midterms done! Finally!"
Chaeyoung stretches her arms.

"Let's grab some coffee. I think I didn't get any sleep. Even in my dreams, I am damn studying." I clicked my neck.

We were sitting under a big tree in the university. I've always loved this spot. It's peaceful.

"Girls!" Not so peaceful anymore, I guess.

"Wanna hangout?" Nayeon sat beside Chaeyoung.

"Yeah. We're thinking of coffee and eating something sweet." Chaeyoung answered.

"Let's go! It's on me!"
I said. We started walking.

"Yay! Can I kiss you, Tzu?"
Nayeon reaches for my cheek but I avoided it. I immediately run.

"You're so mean, Tzuyu Chou!" Nayeon exlaimed. Chaeyoung and I laughed.

"Quick! I might change my mind!"
I joked while the two is far from me.

"You done with your exams?"
I almost jumped when I see Jungkook behind me.

"Uh.. yes. How about you?" I asked. Quite concious with how I look now, I fixed my hair.

His eyes was looking at me intently.

"Just one last exam. You hanging out with your friends?" He asked not taking his eyes off of me.

"Yeah. We're going out for some coffee."

Nayeon and Chaeyoung is now beside me.

"Alright. Take care."

He smiled at Chaeyoung and Nayeon and bowed at them. We did the same.

Jungkook started walking to the exam room and we resume walking to the cafe near the campus.

To: Jay

You're done early with your exams, right? I'll be home late. Feed Kaya and Butter.

From: Jay

All you really care about is your dogs, aren't you?

To:

Yeah. You're nothing compared to them.

I laughed and closed my phone. I decided to buy him a burger meal later. He stays up late anyway.

"Your relationship's really on the next level." Nayeon said wide-eyed.

I quite tell them about me and Jungkook. I just said that we text frequently but they already conclude on what's going on.

Goodluck on the exams!

"He likes you. This is the first time I saw him making a move to a girl. I mean... it's always the other way around. A girl trying to get to him but today's different!" Nayeon, 'the know-all-tea' said.

We decided to eat samgyupsal first. They said that we'll spend the night at a famous coffee shop so we should eat our dinner now although it's just nearly 5 PM.

"Ah... Breads are heaven." I snorted out the moment we entered the coffee shop. We started getting our trays and picking up breads.

The moment I saw a sandwich, I immediately thought of him. He's good. Too good for me.

He made me feel a certain kind of way I've never felt before. I think... I like him.
