~Analise's pov~

I sat on the couch next to Kat and was shockingly calm as I waited for Adam. I couldn't believe it. Kat was asking a million questions but they went in one ear and out the other. After what felt like hours I got a text, "outside :)" my heart nearly stopped beating. Crap was I really going to get coffee with Adam Levine?!

I swallowed hard and sent back "be right there" and grabbed my bag as I hugged Kat and raced out the door. "I want details!" I heard her scream as the elevator doors shut. I messed with my hair, a nervous habit, until the doors open and standing across from me was Adam. His jaw dropped slightly as a smile played on his lips. I blushed, "hey" I said.

~Adam's pov~

I had parked the car at the door, and went inside. I hoped it wouldn't be towed. I shrugged oh well. I went to the desk and ask for Analise's room number. When they asked for a last name I looked dumbfounded. I didn't know. I then asked for her friends and they gave me the number. I pushed the elevator button and waited watching as it descended to the lobby. As the doors opened I stepped forward ready to go in when I saw Analise. She looked amazing. I struggled to find my voice and say something. She beat me too it though. "Wow" was all I could say. "Oh uh, hey" I said "you look beautiful" I managed and held out my arm for her to take.

I could be a gentleman, and this proved it. She took my arm and I led her to the car. "Wow" she said. "Nice car". She looked at it a moment before getting in. "It's a Porsche 356 right?" She asked as I opened the door for her. I went around and got in, "you know your cars." I said with a smile. She nodded, "not really but there are a few that I particularly like and I read up on them."

I looked at her as I started the car, "a girl after my heart" I laughed. She blushed, it was a beautiful sight.

~Analise's pov~

I swear this blush would not leave my cheeks as long as I was near Adam. As he pulled away I turned on the radio, "what can't take a little silence?" He joked "Nope I live and breathe by music" I said and flipped to a familiar station, "on air with Ryan Seacrest, up next maroon 5 with one more night" I grinned and looked over at him. He was already staring at me as we approached a red light, "sorry you aren't gonna want to listen to your own music" I reached for the dial again when he belt out the chorus signing with himself. I laughed and mumbled the lyrics along with him.

"What don't know the words?" he asked. "I know them" I started, "but I don't want to make your ears bleed with my horrible voice." I explained. He rolled his eyes, "trust me I have heard it all." I shook my head, "huh well I now I know you don't know the words, no one listens to a song they love without belting it out no matter how bad."

I giggled, "we'll most people aren't sitting next to the lead singer when they are belting out the song off key either". He chuckled "oh come on" he said. "No way" I retorted my smile growing bigger and my nervousness fading. The song ended and I was relieved. "Oh no you're not off the hook yet".

It was fun sitting in Adam's car joking around, it felt natural and strange all at once, but I liked it.

Adam continued to mess with the radio even after parking the car. "Seriously every other day like every station is playing pay phone or something and now nothing" he groaned. "God is on my side I guess." I laughed, "ya ya ya" he said and got out and opened my door. We walked in and got in line. I looked around and smiled, it was small and cozy and gave a real homey feel. It was nice, I felt like I was back home. We finally ordered and I pulled out my money. He looked at me with a "seriously I asked you here, don't even try" face and I put my money away and we found a booth.

"So..." He started and trailed off, "I'm sure you know all about me, so tell me about you". I smirked and looked into his incredible hazel eyes, "you're very cocky Mr. Levine." I started and took a sip of my coffee, "maybe I know nothing about you" I finished as I looked up at him, a laugh forming in my throat. We both laughed, "okay on a seriously note, I'm 19, I'm for the Boston area, I clearly love music, present company included" he smirked and butterflies erupted in my stomach. "Um, I don't know what else to say, there isn't much."

~Adam's pov~

I sipped my coffee as she spoke, yes she was a fan I thought to myself. That makes this easier to relax and enjoy my time. "19?" I said looking at her "you're only 19!?" I exclaimed, "yes, only 19" she repeated as I stared at her. That's 14 years difference I thought. I shook the thought as we talked, "that's it you're 19, you're from Boston," "near Boston" she corrected, "and you love music?" I asked. She giggled "yep that's it." She said.

We were laughing and having a good time when my phone rang, playing hands all over. I jumped looking for my phone forgetting about my current ringtone and answered "hey Kat". Adam laughed and I blushed a deep red, god he's lucky I'm not fan girling. I thought to myself. "What oh uh yea I guess, I mean sure, but make sure you don't tell my mom" I said getting nervous. "Okay, bye." I hung up and looked at Adam, "what's that all about." He asked. "Kat has to leave tomorrow because school starts for her again but there was only one seat left on the flight. She said she had to take it otherwise she would miss classes." I sipped my coffee craving the familiar taste of caffeine before continuing, " I don't start again till next week so she figured I could fly back alone." I said.

Adam looked at me. "Oh. So your best friend is going to leave you in a strange city by yourself for a few days?" I nodded "wow and your gonna stay?" He asked. "I don't have a choice" I said, "there are no more available flights until Monday she said" I looked at him.

~Adam's pov~

I looked at her as she explained her situation. "Wow, at 19 I don't think I would be this calm knowing I was going to be all alone until Monday on the other side of the country." He laughed.

She smiled slightly and we continued talking and getting to know each other. By the time I dropped her off at her hotel at the end of the night, I knew I was screwed. Work was going to be tough tomorrow. I sighed and drove home and crawled into bed.

~Analise's pov~

I returned to the hotel and walked back to the room. Kat was already packed and was fast asleep. I changed and curled up on the bed and tried to stop thinking of Adam.
