~Analise's pov~

I woke up to my alarm clock on my phone going off. I groaned and started to get up when two strong arms pulled me back. I laughed and looked at Adam pretending to be asleep as he held me down. "I gotta go" I said softly. "No you don't, you could stay" he suggested. I looked at him as he opened his eyes, "my mom would kill me". He sighed and let me go. I went to the bathroom to change and brush my teeth. After snooping through the drawers he found a travel one still wrapped in plastic and decided to use it. I looked at him, "how did you know that was there?" I asked. "After practically living out of hotels for months on end because of touring you get bored and decide to rip one apart to see all it offers." He grinned as he spit in the sink. I laughed and shook my head. As I brushed my hair, he stood behind me watching me closely. He moved slowly and I watched his hands move from his pockets to my waist. He hovered a moment as if asking permission before settling them on my waist. I sighed and put the brush down and leaned against him.

I smiled as I felt her against me. Then I remembered that this was the last time this was going to happen. I decided if I didn't really open up then I never would. I took a deep breath, "Ana" I said. Her eyes locked with mine in the mirror, "this is going to sound crazy but, what if you just stayed?" She furrowed her brow and looked at me, "like stay with you? Or stay in town?" She asked. "Um well both" I answered. She turned to look at me, my hands still resting on her hips. "Honestly, I wish I could. But I can't Adam I mean my life, as screwed up as it is, is in Boston not here." I could hear the disappointment in her voice. With that she walked out of the bathroom and collected her things. I walked out, "at least let me drive you" I said. She nodded, I had until it was time to board to convince her to stay.

Adam was so sweet. He walked me in and sat with me. We joked around and shared a cinnabun as I waited to board. He looked at me as they called my flight and I could see this was the last thing he wanted. I bit my lip and grabbed my carry on bag and stood up. "Adam..." I looked into the hazel eyes that have become so familiar, and watched as he leaned in to kiss me. This time I didn't back away. After everything I have been through he knew it all and was still there for me. As they called my flight again we pulled away. "Goodbye Adam" I said a tear running down my cheek. He wiped it away and kissed my forehead as I turned to go.

As I watched her flight take off it took everything in me not to buy a plane ticket and follow her. I trudged back to my car and answered my phone as it rang for the 10th time. "What?" I asked as I answered. I didn't want to deal with anything right now but work calls. "Be right there" I replied as I hung up on James. I was going to be useless at this meeting today, I could just feel it.

I parked the car and got out walking slowly up the steps to meet with the guys. "So touring starts soon and we have to figure out the North American dates." Shawn said. The guys all got excited and were planning while I sat there bored and tired.

By the time Saturday rolled around the guys were banging on my door, when I wouldn't answer they picked the lock and walked right in. "Ya know there is a reason I didn't answer! I want to be alone." The guys looked at me and yelled, "get up, let's go". I looked at them funny and refused. After watching James, Mickey, PJ, and Matt run upstairs I started at Jesse, "what do you all want?" I asked. Jesse started at me and shook his head. I could see his frustration. The rest of the guys came down and dropped a bag next to the couch and left. Before following Jesse stood and looked at me and uttered, "Jane" and dropped a piece of paper on the bag and with that he left. I stood and looked at the bag and paper. I smiled grateful for my pushy friends. I grabbed my shoes, bag, and paper and ran out the door. They were not going to let me go to that dark place again and I was thankful.

I got home and was instantly embraced by my mother. We talked about the audition and the fact I met and hung out with Adam. Surprisingly she wasn't that mad, I mean come its Adam Levine. After we got home I unpacked and sulked in my room. I couldn't get him out of my head. By Saturday my mother was done with it and forced me to do something, so I laced up my sneakers and pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt and went for a run. After my accident, as I call it, this became part of my routine sort of like additional therapy. I ran around town twice which was easy seeing at how small my town was. As I looped back and ran up my street I noticed someone standing in front of my house banging on the door. I stopped short, "excuse me!" I yelled a little ways away, "can I help you?" I asked not wanting to get to close. As the man turned I saw a set of hazel eyes settle on me. I looked closer and I knew it was Adam.

I landed and started looking for a phone book. when I found one I searched through looking for Ana's friend Kathryn. Two kings in this town one of them had to be Kathryn. I called up the first a number and asked for Kathryn and I waited as I was put through. I was lucky to get it on the first try. "Hey Kathryn" I said after she answered, "it's Adam, I was hoping you would give me Ana's address". I must have shocked her because it took her a moment to answer. "Oh um yea sure" she said and I scribbled down the address. I walked around following the map in the phone book until I found the street. I found her house and knocked on the front door. As I was about to knock again a familiar voice called out to me and I turned with a smile on my face. "Ana" I said as I walked down the stairs. She ran over and hugged me tight and I knew it was going to be okay again.
