Horizon growled and flexed her claws. The cave was destroyed! What were they supposed to do now? She glanced around. Cloud was gone and Toad was simply staring at the ruins. Horizon saw rage in his eyes and he was quivering.
"What do we do now?" She asked him.
Toad shook his head. "I'm not sure."
Expand the vines. Horizon thought. But how do we, now that the cave is destroyed?
Maybe...maybe we don't need the cave. Maybe we just need the vines.
When Horizon told Toad her suspicion, he nodded in agreement. "Maybe."
Horizon sighed. "But we can't get Cloud and he's probably going to tell every cat else."
"We'll find a way." Toad meowed. "Let's at least be there when we're inevitably revealed, I want to see their reactions."
Horizon blinked. She's heard several cats making theories about the vines, although none of them had every scratched the surface of what they were doing. She definitely wanted to see what they said. "Sure."
