The next day, a boring, slow Tuesday, Harry tried to bury himself in a book at work. He hadn't received a text from Louis last night. He didn't know if that was weird or not. He had texted every night while on tour but maybe he wouldn't do that now that he was home. But they had just been on a date, and what was that at the end?. He just left in a rush, clearly bothered by something... Harry still couldn't figure out what that was all about. It scared him to death though, did he suddenly not like Harry anymore?... Somehow that hurt more than Louis forgetting him.

He wouldn't give up though, he had made a promise to Louis weeks ago to never give up again and he's planning on keeping it. He almost fucked it up over that damned PR thing, but he won't abandon Louis again. Never. Even if Louis just wants to be friends, Harry will bare the pain of not getting to be with him. But he will never abandon him again. No matter what. He's going to keep trying, Louis will know that Harry will be there should he ever need him.

He picks up his phone and types Louis a message

Hi Lou, I had fun yesterday. Thinking about you. Hope you are having a good day. <3

As he's about to put his phone away he notices he has a message from Gemma.

Gemma <3

Hi, want to have dinner with me tomorrow? it's been a while <3

Apparently, she'd sent it yesterday but Harry's missed it. Given that he hasn't seen her in a while and he needs the distraction and advice he happily accepts.

Work goes by slowly, he tries to distract himself in a book but he ends up thinking about Louis no matter how hard he tries not to. He hasn't gotten an answer and he can't stop wondering what he did wrong. Everything was going so well and they were having so much fun. Something was definitely wrong, he knew Louis well enough, but he just couldn't figure out what and it was driving him insane. Louis wasn't one to get upset or storm off without a reason, so there has to be something.

Once he got home, he walked Hera and started cooking dinner, he ended up making what he had planned on making him and Louis yesterday. When Gemma arrived, she could tell something was wrong.

"What is it now?"

"What do you mean?"

"You've got that wrinkle between your eyebrows that you get when something's bothering you" she pointed to his face.

"I don't know honestly. I have no idea what's wrong." Harry felt hopeless

He placed some plates on the kitchen island for him and Gemma. He served them some food and sat down next to Gemma.

"Then how do you know something's wrong?"

"Because he just left, after our date yesterday, or not even after it. He left in the middle of it. Suddenly he was just quiet and off and said he had to leave. And now he doesn't even text me back."

"Aah, Louis trouble I should've known. But that doesn't sound like Louis."

"I know, that's what making me so confused. I have no idea what happened or how to fix it."

"You sure it's about you?"

"I mean, no. But what else could it be?"

"It could literally be anything Harry. Try and not overthink it too much."
