Hyunjin’s POV
I watched happily as Soojin and I walked down the aisle. My gaze stayed on her face, and this was the happiest I had ever seen Soojin.
It’s been years. We made it without Ryujin, though we really wished she were still here.
“I still can’t believe it, Uno,” Soojin said.
I chuckled. “Ryujin would be so happy.”
“I know… I know,” she said, smiling at Soeun, who was waiting for her bride.
“I just wanted to thank you, Uno. For walking with me here and for everything,” she said.
“You’re very much welcome, Soo.” I smiled at her.
We came to a stop in front of Soeun, and I hugged her.
“Please take care of Soojin for me—and for Ryujin,” I said, patting her back.
“You know I will, boss,” Soeun said as we parted.
I faced Soojin, and she hugged me tightly.
“This is it, Soo.” I hugged her back.
“Be happy.”
“Thank you,” she said, and Soeun took her hand from me.
I stepped aside, letting them walk to the altar. I stood beside Hyeju and Yerim.
“I knew they’d end up together the first time I saw them talking,” Hyeju said.
“Really?”
“Yeah,” she said, smiling at the couple.
“Mama.”
I looked at Yujin, who sneakily left her mom and came to me.
A small laugh escaped my mouth as I picked her up, carrying her in my arms while she wrapped hers around my neck. I grunted but held her securely. My girl is growing up so fast.
“Mama, you’re getting old,” Yujin said, then laughed.
“No. You’re just growing into a big, big puppy,” I said, bopping our noses together.
“But I’m still you and Ddaeng’s Yudding, right?”
“You will always be mine and Ddaeng’s Yudding.”
My little girl smiled at me, hugging me tighter.
“Your mom is going to scold the both of us later,” I whispered to her, and we both looked at Heejin.
She was glaring at us, and we showed her a peace sign.
“Let’s have fun later before I stress out over my surprise for Mom, alright?” I said.
“Alright, Mama,” Yujin said, mirroring the smile on my face.
