3rd person's POV
Heejin is stressed. It was Yujin's first day at school, and she had fought with someone. She was called to the office and saw her child with a couple of scratches on her face.
She talked to the other kid's parent and settled the problem. Luckily, the kids reconciled in the end, even if it was against Yujin's will.
The mother and daughter made their way to the car, with Yujin keeping her silence as she kept her head down. Heejin put her in the backseat, securing the seatbelt around the child. She sighed and gently caressed Yujin's cheeks.
"Look at mommy," she said, to which Yujin quickly obeyed.
"I'm so sorry, mom," the kid apologized.
"I told you to behave, didn't I?"
"But Aunt Tres said that I should fight back when someone's saying things to me." With a frown on her face, Yujin said.
"Why? What did your classmate say?" Heejin asked, tucking Yujin's hair behind her ear.
Heejin knows that Yujin is a good kid and she also knows that Yujin has a reason why she fought with that kid, but the principal wanted the kids to reconcile without even hearing the root of their fight.
"She embarrassed me in front of the class, saying things about me being an adopted child."
Heejin took a breath in, "Come on, we're going back there."
She unbuckled Yujin's seatbelt, attempting to go back to the principal's office to argue with the kid and the kid's mother, but Yujin stopped her.
"It's okay, mom. Let's just go. Mama will get mad if you get more stressed. "
"Oh, trust me, baby, she'll even support me if she's here."
Yujin chuckled. Her mama will definitely support her mom, but she doesn't want her mom to get into a fight with someone just because of her.
"It's okay, mom. I'm okay already. Let's just go home," Yujin smiled, as did Heejin.
The woman placed a small kiss on the child's head after putting the seatbelt back on and going to the driver's seat.
They went home quickly so Heejin could treat Yujin's scratches. Yerim welcomed them, and her smile was replaced by a frown when she saw her niece's face.
"What happened?" she asked.
"She had a fight with her classmate," Heejin said, looking down at Yujin.
After hearing what Heejin said, Hyeju asked, "Did you get the kid's information? Like her address, their parents' name or something? "
"Huh? What are you going to do with my classmate?" Yujin asked, genuinely confused, why her Aunt Tres wanted information about her classmate.
"Nothing, baby. Don't mind your Aunt Tres," Heejin glared at Hyeju.
Yerim went back to the living room with a first aid kit in her hands, and Heejin treated the small scratches on Yujin's cute face.
